Ever so slightly annoyed

I just noticed that the center tube section on my SS Vamo does not seat properly and wobbles when I try and tighten it down. Which is strange because when I received it last week, I ran it in 18650 mode for a few days so I could get a feel for if I could get used to carrying it around in its larger size.

OK so here's the odd part. The center section for the SS seats perfectly on my backup black chrome (yes, I bought 2 because I expected something like this would crop up) and the center section from the bc fits perfectly on the SS.

Just weird. OK. Anyway. Only slightly annoyed since I can switch them and have 2 full sized units.

Just below the buttons, or the removable extension? The piece just below the buttons is press-fit, so you can just push it back together.

It's the removable section. There must be something off with the threads.

Weird. (I know about the press-fit section from using stacked 18350s. It pushed apart, and when it got annoying enough I pushed it back together and wrapped it. Been fine since then.)

If I wasn't so loving the look of the all stainless it wouldn't be an issue to mismatch the parts, wrap them and be done with it. Grrrrr (ever so slightly)
