ever use a centrifuge for filtering?

Any centrifuge capable of useful volumes and speed that would filter finer than what can be done with pressure or vacuum systems would be cost prohibitive. Nice idea though.

I agree a centrifuge for even pint sized jars would require a forklift to move around, I believe I already answered this question once or twice.

Before anyone goes the used route, I suggest you do some research. Any really useful centrifuge is going to need to produce rpm in the thousands. The rotor has a recommended lifetime after which it must be x-rayed for stress fractures or the rotor needs replaced. Any centrifuge should have an enclosure for safety. $$$$$
