I don't care what's in or not. The only thing about newer versions coming out that bothers me is that I am trying to stock up on things. I love my Protank 2s and do not want 3s! I have been accumulating coil heads so that I can keep on rebuilding them for years to come. I want to be able to buy more PT2s, PT2 minis and EVODS (and parts). I worry I won't get enough of them before they get phased out completely. Money is tight in my household, so I can't just order a bunch at once and be done.

Slightly off topic, but it was discussed briefly in this thread so:

To the guys "vaping" pepper extract and e-liquids with "organic peach and mango" in them: pretty sure you're "smoking/combusting" with that stuff and not so much "vaping."

Not that I know for sure, but some of these e-liquids you guys load into your toppers... I read "organic mango flavor .9%, organic peach flavor .7%" like straight up burning and inhaling sugar. Doesn't sound too smart.

But hey, have at it I guess...

Please explain why you think any natural sugar found in organic flavoring would burn any more than artificial flavoring found in most e-juice (including non-organic juice).

Post your build to facebook, like a juice flavor and share your coil temperature all at the touch of a button. Ugh...

I've already said wireless charging will be the next big thing. I know the rDNA from Vapor Shark is going to have an integrated charging receiver card soon. Maybe not the 'game changer' we all hear about, but something that I know I will find useful.

I've started the patent application for facebook posts from an e-cig.

As far as integrated charging, it sounds cool but it would not work for me.

It's like a shell game. Should you find your sweet spot, they will then replace it and you're stuck hunting for heads and parts for what is immediately obsolete.

Instead of chasing the Next Big Thing, I have shifted to scavenging supplies for my "obsolete" favorite setup, stocking up for Vapocalypse. It is less costly and very satisfying, knowing I found my sweet spot and have at least five years of supplies and backups!

As tubes get bigger and wattage potential increases, I just kick back and watch, vaping what I like.

Lol! Ive been listening to people say the Provari is outdated for years.

Funny how my lungs and my addiction dont think so.

Find something that works for you and works well and dont worry about the "next big thing". You just described a never ending search on a road that leads nowhere except to frustration and empty bank accounts.

Bought a Sigelei 20W a few months back. A week or two later, the Sigelei 30W came out.

Bought a 3D dripper. Less than a month later, dripping tanks hit the market.

So I buy an EHPro Pontus v1 dripping tank, only to find the EHPro Pontus v1.5 was on it's way to the store I just purchased it from before I even receive it in my mailbox.

When will the madness end?

I feel for you on the 3D. Got so excited by the concept I bought 2. And they're nowhere near as good as the dripper tanks (and REALLY hard to rebuild!)!

It looks cool, but it comes with Bluetooth.....really, Bluetooth on an APV? ..........Really? What's next?

The Bluetooth on the BEC Pro very much appeals to my inner nerd. The iOS and Android apps can be used to change/monitor the power settings and, presumably, save profiles for different coils/toppers. Switch from your 1ohm Kayfun to your . 5 Magma? Fire up the app and load the profile. Superfluous? Perhaps. Geeky and cool? Definitely.

NOW everything is outdated.

With no red tape or regulations anything is possible
Was eating breakfast this morning and had a brainstorm for a mod.
Conceptual design completed by teeth-brushing time.
Components aquisition by 9:15AM local (after Wal-Mart opened)
Modifications and Production complete by 10:30
Available for sale by noon.
I'm now in the vape bidness and no one can tell me I'm not.
I'm currently working on some accessories like "drip funnels" and "mobility options"
The eliquid (I call it "Poached Eggz"-with a Zed) will be available as well, as soon as I clear out a little more garage space.

Oh wait there is ONE THING I need to make it "legal"
NOT INTENDED AS A SMOKING CESSATION DEVICE

I agree. Just because something is not the most current model doesn't mean it's outdated. So long as it's meeting your requirements, there is no need to replace it. However there is usually a want.

After watching the mess of the iPV pre-orders, the announcement of the 50, then the 100 and now the 150 watt APVs, I'm just going to be over here vaping with my REO and basic mechs while everything settles down.

It's like me. Vaping is not a hobby to me (yet?), Vaping is simply harm reduction for me, I vape rather than smoke. I vape around 8 to 11 watts, why do I need or want a 150 watt monster that can also charge my phone, use as a flashlight, and play music on? I have a phone that does all that ;)

I have my Billet Box (which I love), and my ProVari for a backup - got rid of my MVP simply because I no longer use it.

Where from, may I ask? bevapehappy's pre-order page says Smok was shipping to distributors on 8/28. I'm sure you'll post a thorough review. :)

I got it from esmokeclub.com (see link below). I've been talking to them over the last few days and they seem pretty cool. They are even updating the firmware for me since my phone has an older version of Android that is not compatible with the app. It's supposed to ship out today.

Bevapehappy will have the newer version of the software already installed.

How do you like the hot pepper vape anyway? I'm a pepper hound too, I'm dying to know but have been *really* leary about trying it out...

I need to get some hot pepper juice.
I keep eyeing the bottle of tobasco on my desk and thinking, I could vape that, just a drop in the dripper, it'll be fine I can always rewick.
Who knows maybe there'll be a new post in the "stupidest thing while vaping" thread

But it's not like there aren't real improvements with the newer stuff. There are, and they are definitely noticeable. This past week I've bought two RBA's and a coil jig (not as impressed with the coil jig as I thought I would be, but I got it for a good price and will use it. The Pontus I just got, on the other hand, simply rocks), and I think I'm going to order that Smoktech BEC I've been eying tonight. When I get it I will be kicking myself for not waiting a few more weeks for the next latest and greatest, but whatever, I will be able to connect my PV to my phone.

I have to make a correction on the KK Vapetek coil jig. After a little practice, I am able to get nice, tight coils. No need to take a flame to it to squeeze it together anymore. Took about 4 coils to make them perfect with it, and now I think it's much better than a drill bit and vice grips or a jeweler's screw driver.
