Everything I buy is outdated by the time I get it

It's awesome, but I would like it even hotter (I want it to be slightly painful). Since my stomach doesn't handle spicy foods well anymore this is how I am getting my fix. I got it from Opensource Vapor if you're interested (I ordered the Flavor Junkie just to get more hot pepper). I will definitely be ordering this stuff again. He gave me a sample vial of the hot pepper extract he uses so I could add it to other flavors, but I am thinking about vaping it straight. In any case, it's spicy but not painfully so. Great flavor.
Awesome, thanks for the heads up. I will try this. I have the same problem. My mouth loves the peppers and, well, let's just say the next day is less than pleasant. The older I get the worse it is and that sucks.

As soon as you realize you can just vape the stuff that works and stop buying status symbols instead. Hand over the credit cards before someone gets hurt. :p

But it's not like there aren't real improvements with the newer stuff. There are, and they are definitely noticeable. This past week I've bought two RBA's and a coil jig (not as impressed with the coil jig as I thought I would be, but I got it for a good price and will use it. The Pontus I just got, on the other hand, simply rocks), and I think I'm going to order that Smoktech BEC I've been eying tonight. When I get it I will be kicking myself for not waiting a few more weeks for the next latest and greatest, but whatever, I will be able to connect my PV to my phone.

Read through the threads. In any reviews, disposables come almost always in second place ( tactfully put ). Rebuildables can last a looong time with a bit of TLC and good maintenance. A bit of wick a bit of wire plus DIY and you looking at pennies where you used to spend dollars with tobacco sticks...
That puts the industry into a quandary. Cuz once you walked off with a good set, they basically won't hear ( in terms of re-ordering ) for a while.
So they have to tickle you and entice you into buying again.
And again.
And...

Is like household detergents: Chemistry on them is 99.99% identical. The other 0.01% is the 'new and improved' advertising which eats as muach as 80% of the gross.

Same with mods and attys. Principle is always a liquid that gets vaporized. And that principle needs to get sold and sold again to keep the presses going.

Gadgeritis or - as already posted - settling for what works for you ... your decision, your wallet :)

Don't get me wrong. What I have works great, but it's not perfect and I am in search of the ultimate vape. When I got my 20W, I never thought I'd ever use 20 watts but here I am vaping spicy peach mango at 20 watts (vaping hot peppers is awesome) and now I am ready for more. I wasn't even interested in RBAs when i got my 20W but now I have 6 of them and even geeked out over wicking material for a while. I guess I am hoping 50 watts will be satisfying with 0 nic 100% VG e-juice. My EHPro Pontus is fantastic (easily the best RBA I own), but even it could use a few improvements.

Vaping gets you in two ways. You have the NIC habit that we had when most of us were smoking, but now many of us also have the electronics/gadget/building hobby to fuel it.

Spicy Peach Mango sounds amazing! Did you buy it or DIY it?

Last year Apple sold 150 million iPhones. This year, a lot of those buyers will scramble for an iPhone 6, and next year will sell their souls to get an iPhone 6A or whatever the next model is. And the lesson to be learned? Simples. Shiny new toys make the world seem a little better, but not for long. We quickly become jaded, and yearn for something new. And who of us is immune?

No one tells you about the next sexy thing that's about to arrive because they need to sell out the old stuff to make room!

Seriously, if it vapes and satisfies the need for nic, it's all good. Wait a cycle and opt in for version 3.5 ... it'll be here soon.

I bought a new Ram 1500 Quad Cab Hemi a year ago. Mine has the 6 speed tried and true transmission. For 2014, the tranny is an 8 speed made by Mercedes and used also in Rolls Royce. I was furious until I started to read the crazy things this trans was doing. Those who have them either love them or hate them, depending on whether theirs has the bug. There are stories about sudden downshifts that run the engine above 5000 rpm and all sorts of stories about the tranny downshifting when you hit the brakes. It's all fly by wire from a knob on the dash.

I'll keep my 6 speed (and my Provari V2), thank you!

I haven't heard of anyone selling their soul for an iPhone. I have, however, heard of people selling one of their organs. This was a few years ago, and I bet he feels silly now that his iPhone is outdated. I may be insane, but I'm not that insane.

It looks cool, but it comes with Bluetooth.....really, Bluetooth on an APV? ..........Really? What's next?

WiFi would be my guess. So you can share that .0000000001 ohm coil you just built with your friends for bragging rights. After that would be a camera for vape selfies, coil shots, and giant clouds.

Post your build to facebook, like a juice flavor and share your coil temperature all at the touch of a button. Ugh...

I've already said wireless charging will be the next big thing. I know the rDNA from Vapor Shark is going to have an integrated charging receiver card soon. Maybe not the 'game changer' we all hear about, but something that I know I will find useful.

Slightly off topic, but it was discussed briefly in this thread so:

To the guys "vaping" pepper extract and e-liquids with "organic peach and mango" in them: pretty sure you're "smoking/combusting" with that stuff and not so much "vaping."

Not that I know for sure, but some of these e-liquids you guys load into your toppers... I read "organic mango flavor .9%, organic peach flavor .7%" like straight up burning and inhaling sugar. Doesn't sound too smart.

But hey, have at it I guess...
