I will bet your T3 is a copy not an original. Had this happen to another member.

The 3 holes on the Base of a kanger are 2/3 UP the base. I think you will have one with the holes very near the bottom of the base. The Ego threads block the holes.

Post what you see and if needed contact your retailer. If they give you a run around, find a new supplier.

Original Kanger works fine on an eVic - I'm using one now.

Best of luck. I have probably 15 T3/MT3 and 10 T3 mini and haven't had anything like this happen. At least we know it SHOULD work fine with the eVic.

ETA - may I suggest you remove the Top cone of the eVic and align the Kanger beside the threads to see where the will sit. Should be just around the top 2/3 threads.

I have serveral MT3s and they are really airy on my evic. I had to plug one of the holes in the coil base to get a tighter draw. But I'll tell you this, I have to pull the post out on the MT3 coil a little bit so it will work, otherwise it won't make contact with the center post on the evic.

You might want to try the Kanger EVOD. Its a bottom coil like the T3/MT3, but smaller and with less expensive replacement heads.

It has a smooth metal base with three air holes, rather than the knurled base of the T3/MT3. So its easy to tape over one or two of the air holes of the EVOD if you want a less airy draw. The EVOD fits the eVic without an adapter.

I always disliked the knurled base of the T3s and MT3s. I'll be buying EVODs instead from now on.

Thanks I'll have to get a few of them. Right now I just use the tip of a wooden toothpick to plug the whole and it works great. I've been rebuilding the MT3 coils to with kantal wire and silica wicks and they work great.
