I bought 2 eVics within the last 2 weeks and both are performing flawlessly. They were manufactured before the "Recall" ones, so there is no issue with them. With one of them I had a rough time updating the firmware to 1.1 as the computer kept crashing when I connected the USB cable, but after a while it finally detected the unit and auto-firmwared it (Had the firmware update on my HDD already).

Sorry to hear about your rig, I would have been pi**ed too.

Maybe you have one of the "Recall" jobs, and Joyetech was very quick on the ball serving notice of it. They didn't wait for the complaints to come in, they acted before anyone even made mention of it. S**t happens, and they acted instantly. Kudos to them.

yea i know these things happen, i just thought they might of tested them a bit before release... its not just the punters i feel for-having to wait for replacements ect, but also the good vendors who gotta look after their peeved customers and deal with shipping ect... fair enough and good on joyetech for replacements and recalls ect...... be interesting to see what happens with the Janty!!!!
