I cannot speak for the Evic as I have never tried one, but I can tell you I love my Provari. I have only had it 2 days now, but I am in absolute love with it :) Super tough built, nice weight in the hand, really nice. I am actually thinking of buying a second one tonight as a backup, I couldn't imagine being without it now that I have one lol

After weeks of deliberation I ordered a Provari! My reasons
The warranty
The build & quality
They offer repairs outside of warranty at a reasonable price
Reliability & Dependability appear to be proven

I cannot speak to the evic since I do not own one but that's just how I came to my decision after looking into the Vamo, Lavatube, & Evic as well. Goodluck making your decision!

What is the warranty on the eVic? The customer service? If you spend the money for an evic, and it dies in 6 months, what is your plan, buy another? Who will fix it?

I love my Vamo (and I know you are saying evic, but same thought process), but would never think of it as anything but a chinese made disposable that I bought AFTER I had my ProVari. And to tell the truth, I use the Vamo more because of the VW. But without having one reliable, repairable device I wouldn't have considered it. IMHO, everyone needs ONE reliable, repairable, durable, warrantied device so they won't be caught buying a disposable (or worse a pack of cigarettes) for lack of a working unit.

You are paying for build quality with provari. VW is nothing . If you cant dial in your vv by taste then something is wrong with you. Not you but I ment people that swear by vw. You are also paying for the usa workers when it comes to the build of the provari. To own and pay for a worker to use a cnc and everything else that goes into it from a block of metal its worth the 159.99 for the silver 2.5. i love mine. Im off the cigs so thats all that matters. I do however like the screen of the evic better than the provari but will it last? The provari has gone through the good and bad and have made it all good. I dont trust new mods.

I wouldn't bundle my evic into this general "chinese-made-steer-clear-of" category. Most of the darn things are made up in that region - get over it. In case I drop my evic and it breaks, what do I do? First off, call the people I have the general warranty for. If that doesn't help, contact the seller, etc. There is a warranty, end of point.

I recently bought an expensive phone, in the 700$ category, and I haven't dropped it once. Not to mention, I haven't dropped my ecigs once. They are electronics, they aren't built like houses - what on earth do you people expect?

From what I've read the Provari stands out on its build quality. Fine and dandy. Again, what I've read about the Vamo, isn't entirely in it's favor, either. If you would like to fiddle and tinker with your e-cig to your hearts content, by all means, do so. That's vamo. Evic stands somewhere in the middle (we don't have faulty end caps) by average.

I'm doing my research on all the PV's and while the Provari is the best of the best I hate the interface screen. The price is worth the workmanship hands down but for me the Vamo V2 is the one i'm getting myself. I went down to a vape store that had 20 different kinds and tried them out and for bang vs buck the Vamo just beats it IMO !!!! If the Provari had the same interface screen as the Vamo it would be perfect but 1980's screen tech for that price is just a slap in the face for such a perfect work of art. I can get 4 Vamo's for 1 provari.

Now if i could some how put the screen from the Vamo into the provari it would be perfect....Oh the Evic.. ya..ummm.. just no, if it was a metal then maybe, just felt cheap in my hands is all.

I think one can't really compare those two. Its like comparing a trusty long living old car with the newest high-tech car.

Once you own an evic, a replacement head comes at 1/3 of the cost of a provari... so one has to wait which is the better deal.

My provaris are fine, still working after more than 1 year respectively more than 8 months. But then I never dropped them.
I have the eVic for 4 weeks and have not dropped that either...

But lately VV doesn't do it for me anymore!

Nowadays I use a kicked bolt, a kicked megalodon and an eVic. It's not that I don't like my Provaris, and I am praying that provape will catch up with VW soon (instead of making a ridiculous Version 2.5 with "design-improvements"). But as of this moment, they are relics on my shelf next to my screwdriver 901 mod and my lavatube version 1...

I'm getting an eVic in the next CoOp. i have no interest in ProVari. That thing is dated. I want a cool screen that you can share data with a computer.

Bells and whistles.

Is that cool screen and interaction with a computer REALLY going to improve your vapor?

And Provape will be selling Provari's long after the Evic has run its course.
