we subject our electronics made for commercial use to ambient of 65C in the chamber all the time, even with air cooling, the temperature cannot be below ambient with forced air cooling...

I set mine up to 65C, have chain vaped, and never worried about it.

However, running anything at hotter temp just means you are accelerating the MTBF (mean time before failure), but i figured I'll just get another mod if this happens...

I love the features of the evic so I'll probably look for something similar on my next but more robust, maybe a provari or an innokin, for now, My eVic is sexy and sleek and squat (18350 tube), I'm loving it...

Not bashing the Provari, but it doesn't have VW. If this doesn't matter, then I'd say go for it.

As a Provari owner (6 of them). I have to admit that the evic is the only Chinese mod that even comes close to a decent Vape quality. It doesn't sound like a darn rattle snake. And the voltage seems to be within 0.2 volts under load. Very close. All it lacks is the quality and heft of my Provari's and it would be very close. Miles ahead if my old vamo and tesla.

Its funny how some people associate weight with quality. Just because one item is half the weight of a similar item doesn't necessarily mean it's of lower quality of the other.

I remember back when they first started coming out with these pulse dial phones. To make people think they were of higher quality than they were, the manufacturers would put a metal weight inside the case to make it heavier.

Sure the eVic has had it's initial quality control problems, but those get worked out and the quality can only get better (hopefully).
