For few who like it bigger, taller, wider and more power delivering version of evic vtc
with dual battery option....
seems to be launching soon Joyetech Cuboid 150W link to the other thread
Yep, I saw that in an email to me. They are stating they will ship in one week. $69.90 at their joyetech site, but I have already seen it for close to half that amount. Looks very interesting and I will be following the reviews and user experiences.

Okay so new issue, thank you for clearing up the last one aldenf, but when I put it into SS316 mode right when I hit the fire button it just goes back to power? Any ideas why this is happening?
What kind of coil and atty are you using? We'll need specifics to answer that question (single or dual coil, contact or spaced, rda/premade coil head/RBA).

Thank you all for your willingness to help! The problem kind of solved itself, I am using a uwell crown currently. When I am using it something just doesn't seem right in TC mode, I'm sure it is just me doing something wrong but still it is just strange. I feel like it's not actually hitting the temp I have it set to, so I will turn it up, and once I get past a certain point it seems like it is getting way too hot. And I am using the coil head that came with the tank.

I usually get like 60% more battery life in power vs Tc. But it's been like that in every single battery Tc mod I've had

I am finding the same thing. I was using an older 18650 while waiting for my new battery order to arrive and thought it was on its last legs. Then I put a brand new LG HG2 in two different mini's, one in TC one in power mode. Using them equally, I get about 3/4 of a day out of the one in TC mode and about 1 3/4 days out of the one in power mode.
I am a low wattage vaper. The one in power mode was running between 9 and 10 watts. The one in TC was set for 380F and 15 watts. I think I will try aldenf's recommendation and reduce the one in TC mode to 10 watts, as it takes under 5 watts to maintain the temp and see how that effects battery life.

This makes the mod practically unusable for 26 or lower gauge dual coil builds.

I have used SS 316 24g 10 wraps per coil dual 3mm that came in at about .25 ohm and it worked great.
I only did this to see how it would perform as I don't usually use duals in anything.
I agree that .4 to .5 is ideal for TC on the mini with SS (around .2 for Ni200 and .4 for Ti).
In my opinion, only my opinion, I don't think TC was originally meant to be used in multiple coil setups. I would never tell anyone how to vape, to each their own, but multiple coil's can introduce so many more variables into the TC equation as to cause issues with accuracy.

What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Too many variables to give an accurate measurement, but an average is 11m/s, and it depends if it's African or European. :w00t:

What are the primary characteristics of a Newtonian fluid?

Umm... It's liquid, it's smokey white, and it gives off a nice vapor if you use a single coil of the proper resistance. ???

No, but those are the primary characteristics of my favorite type of fluid. Maybe second. Beer is definitely in the running too. Then there's a good single malt........ decisions, decisions.

Last night l went to my parents house to update my dad's vtc. I also brought an atty with the same ss build my 2 vtc's had trouble with (Wouldn't stay in tc mode). After updating it l threw on the atty l brought then lowered the tcr until the tc kicked in. I had to lower it quite a bit but it stayed in tc mode all night.

Since joyetech is willing to listen to us and make changes we want, I'm willing to give the vtc another chance. Gonna order another one come pay day.

What was the build they had trouble with?
I have found that although there is a broad range of builds the mini's specs say it can use, there is a rather narrow range that truly work well.
User adjustable TCR setting should broaden this range, but I haven't been able to do thorough testing yet.
