Nope..it not firing at all..it also not pop up 'check atomizer' @ 'atomizer shorted'.
Suspecting the heat plate is defect.
Its my 1st day received n it bad..
Unlock resistance, unscrew atty, turn mod off, screw atty back on (make sure it's at room temp.) turn mod back on, wait till ohms comes up, lock resistance..... Try that.

Hi

Picked up my new evic vt today, tried using the variable temp Ni function with the Ni 200 coil that comes in the ego one mega tank in the box, but when I tried to use the VT function, it kept giving me a temp protection message, and woudnt fire. I switched out the coil for the titanium one, and had the same problem with the VT Ti function. I locked the resistance but it didnt help at all. It works fine on the VW function, however the vapor is very hot. For this reason I mostly use this box mod with my atlantis tank, and that seems to work great.

Any help with these new VT features would be appreciated.

Thanks
Never try an evic vt, heard it's great.

Read the manual.
Are you getting the new coil right screen?
My evic vt wont firing either on Ti Ni r VW mode..im using standard ego one atomizer..

Any solution?
Thanks
What coil are you using?
It will only fire in the correct mode.
Did the new atomizer screen post when you screwed it on.
Take your time, read the manual.

Im in malaysia and i buy it from china..now im trying to claim the warranty..

This can be a real issue in Malaysia, it's hard enough to get international deliveries, let alone return anything without it getting lost.

In future maybe think about buying from some of the Malaysian vape stores, there are plenty of them now.

That way at least returns are easier.

I tend to use VapeBrothers and LeGadget who are based in the Damansara area, not too much of a drive if you're based in KL.

Good luck with the return :)

Actully a pack of cigs still only costs $2 to $3 USD a pack here depending on brand.

Just saying :)
wow, here its more like $10-$12.
either way we were still burning our money away, u just took a little longer to do it.
a good mod will last u for awhile.

if not feasible to return it maybe u can take it apart and check for bad wiring if ur handy. but i think the problem is the board.

Are you based in or near KL?

I saw some Evic VT's in a shop a few doors up from VapeBrothers, it's called Vaporuim of something like that. Literally 12 shops up from VapeBrothers.

Yours may be having an issue. I got one of the VTs when they were first released and have had no issues at all with the device firing or recognizing a new coil. I have gone through my Ni and Ti coils (like the Ti far better for whatever reason) and am now using a standard eGo One 0.5 ohm coil at 33.5 watts.

The only issue I had was accidentally using the Ti coil on the Ni setting because I wasn't paying attention and got a nasty hit due to the difference in resistance between the two coils and the device firing the Ti coil with too much voltage. Mine is a 1.18 device as well.
