awww I want two months from an atomizer .....it's not fair.....lol. ..perhaps I just vape way too much or something.

Maybe!! I use the Evo much like I did for cigs - not continuously. If you do use it very heavily, you might be better off with a screwdriver and a stock of spare atomisers!

Pete, Parked did a very positive review on the Lady Pipe, which is less of a cash outlay:

MINI PIPE

Hope that helps.

Wow that really looks good.......I think I will go for it .....thanks expipeman.

(one on order plus a few spares) ....fingers crossed.

Wow, Pete that sucks man. I wonder why your atomizers are like that, ive had my evo for about 2 months now and although i bought extra atomizers the original one i got still works fine(havent even had to use any of the back ups yet).

Great review Terr, as i was also wondering about the pilot and the verdict on it. Sounds like its as good as the evo, thats good news. Might have to order some of those atomizers from puresmoker, then i'll have all kinds of extra atomizers laying around for back up because I just cant kill my first one lol.

Yeah, dude...get a heap of pilot atomizers. At ~10 USD each, you can't go wrong and you can never have too many, IMO.

Yes do we have to order from America if we want these here in the UK??

As far as I know, Puresmoker is the only one that carries this programming type...I think it may be a custom job for him. Steve?

Hello people, well I hope the pilot is better than the evo. I got an evo a few days ago, I really had high hopes for this thing. But Im sad to say Im really disappointed. This thing is like sucking air. It looks nice and feels good in your hand but I get no satisfaction whatsoever.

And the thing is a pain to refill no matter how carefull Iam I get juice in my mouth. I dont think I'll be buying another 401 style cig. Ive been using a 901 and its very easy to use and a good throat hit.

I was going to buy it for my dad but now I want my money back. I'll get him a 901 instead.

What you're saying doesn't make sense Fran.

There's either something wrong with your Evo or you're doing it wrong.

1) Like sucking air? That's got to be an issue with the liquid/carts you're using. The evo isn't known for being a wuss about vapor / throat hit. I did a video review of TW's M/boro in which I choked from the throat hit.

2) If you're getting liquid in your mouth, the carts you're using are over-filled. Use a lighter draw when you put a fresh cart on or right after refilling. This is something you have to get used to.

Sorry you're having issues with it but I feel comfortable saying it's not the brand or the type at fault.

The liquid I use is puresmoker menthol and risky juice, 16mg. I use the same for my 901, and I get plenty of throat hit from the 901. And I get juice in the mouth even with prefilled carts. Ive watched instruction vids and followed them to a T.

I just know that Im not getting this sensational experience some people are talking about. Like I said I was really hoping for the best, but from what I can see Im not the only one with this opinion on this forum about the evo.

Tried emailing the guy at intellicig and still no response, honestly I feel stuck with this thing.

Not being a 901 owner (I think I'm going to get one) I can't address the difference between the two in regards to throat hit. What I can say, though, is that I have used puresmoker juice and others and the only juice I've used in the Evo that doesn't produce a significant throat hit is from Johnson Creek.

Again, it may be that you have a faulty unit.

What you're saying doesn't make sense, though.

Also; intellicig.com or intellicigs.com?

It just goes to show that one man's throat hit is another man's sucking on air. I'm with Terraphon on this - I have no issues with the Evo which for its size delivers both great vapour and imho a great throat hit. It's clear from all the posts on this subject that people differ. It's not surprising - people smoked different brands of analog cigs and what worked for one smoker did not for another. To expect an e-cig to be all things to all people is therefore unreasonable.

terra, ive noticed that the evo carts are different..bigger than the pilot (steves) cart. is this true? if its, do you get to put in more liquid?

At this time it is true, in fact. Yes, you can put a bit more liquid in the EVO cartridge but the difference isn't as dramatic as it seems.

evo sucks, got a full charge and still not that great, if you like a good throat hit, dont go near this thing.

There's a lot of people out there that will happily disagree with you.

I'm sorry that your experience hasn't been a good one but for you to say that the product sucks is rubbish.

I don't know what's going on with your evo (or Parked's) but, again...I was a Marlboro Red 100 smoker for 20 years and the evo has made me choke more than once with the throat hit...especially with strong liquids.

I have noticed, by the way, that thicker liquids tend to be subdued a bit by the evo. Take that for what it's worth.

If you don't like it, return it and go with something else that's more suitable to your tastes.

Sorry if "sucks" offends you, but its just a quick way of saying, "I am terribly disappointed with the performance of this particular product". Either way, same meaning.

I never liked much sugar in my coffee.

Besides, I was just lighting up the convo with that last line:

"Evo still sucks.........lol .....just kidding.......but it really sucks tho. LOL"

having fun at that point
