I don't have the Provari's but do have the Evod's and in my experience they are way too airy for me as well. I was shocked since I was told that the evod's were less airy than the protank mini, but I found the opposite.

I broke off toothpicks in two of the three holes in the base of mine mine and it improved greatly.

Ultimately this was one of the main reasons I switched to the Mini Protank 2. It had a tighter draw and I preferred the "feel" of the trip tip better. The eVod's mouthpiece was too big for me.

Try getting a couple of Mini Protank 2's. I think they taste better and they are easy to completely disassemble to clean. Not that the Evod's are hard to clean, but they take a while to dry. I can completely clean and dry a Mini Protank 2 in less that three minutes. And because they are made of glass, you can use them to sample anything you want

Sun Vapers has them on sale for 11.99 each which is just .02 more than they are at fasttech. And you know they are authentic at Sun-Vapers, and you'll get them in just a couple days instead of a couple weeks. Plus Sun Vapers has replacement glass in stock so you have some spare glass in case you get a case of the "dropsies".

I love the version1 of the ProTank Mini II. found them at Ecigcity for $10.99 Kanger Mini Protank II v1 - Eciggity
I have several EVOD's but I tastes the plastic so I don't use them. It may be due to the fact that I'm vaping 0 nic juices. And I agree, they are very airy.

I was a little scared of the Mini Protank II. I figured removable glass would just provide more opportunity for leakage. I couldn't have been more wrong.

I had two Mini Protank I's with the glass glued in. Within 24 hours of getting my first Mini Protank II v1, I got two more!!!. I've retired my Mini Protank I's as backups. Of course with the removable glass, I don't see the need to break them out anytime soon.

I also prefer the version one of the Mini Protank II. I absolutely LOVE the drip tip on these and I have absolutely no need to pay extra for a removable drip tip.

I hope Kanger continues to create the static tip version, though.

If I knew how to post pics you guys would have a field day! I have bright orange toothpics sticking out of the air holes of the EVOD - on the Provari. With all 3 air holes plugged I cannot draw at all, so it's not getting air from the base/adapter area. Must just be the nature of the beast. It is performing great. I have some really thick no name chocolate juice in it that would not wick at all in cartomizers or Vision Nanos and it's wicking fine. Not one dry hit in half a tank and incredible vapor.

Cheap wooden toothpicks and snap them off is a good solution if you want to reduce the draw on an Evod.
