Ugh... not having any luck at all with my Evods on this trip. Yesterday I was having trouble with the heads, and just now I stupidly dropped a different one on concrete. The "battery cap" (not sure what else to call it... it's the small metal circle on the end with the Kanger logo) popped off, and some black, cylindrical material with the consistency of felt jutted out slightly. Eek!

Quickly I recapped it and powered it up (it was powered down at the time). The battery flashed 5 times normally, and maintained a normal temperature. I cautiously took a few vapes (likely a stupid idea), and it seemed to work fine. However, I'm super paranoid about these eGo-style batteries exploding (though none specifically of the Evod brand). I'm staying at a hotel, so currently I have the battery sitting in a metal pot outside the room, as my boss is taking me out to dinner shortly.

I did a search on this site, but nothing came up regarding this particular situation before. Is the battery dangerous? If so, how should it be safely disposed of? I definitely don't want to cause any damage to the hotel.

Thanks for any advice.
