R41, damn that brings back memories. Coiling that stuff was interesting. Springy as all hell. It was also one of the worst wires taste wise that I ever tried. Once coiled, the stuff would last forever though.

What were the symptoms? Maybe I am suffering from them too but haven't traced it back to nickel yet. It's entirely possible that my reactions to nickel-containing coils were coincidental rather than actual effects. However, it happened three times. Once with nichrome, once with R41, and once with straight nickel. Those reactions didn't come immediately either; it was generally after 3-5 days of using a coil in my ADV mod. The symptoms cleared up within a day or two of switching to Kanthal or Titanium. After that, I said: "No more nickel for me!"
Ah... I found them. $6.90 for two. You only need the glass and no conversion kit or anything, right? The 10 mil capacity is such a huge Pro, they have a 15mil bubble glass available now to.
Mine are in the mail & should arrive this week, I'm hoping?
Monies worth or locked into SC products forever?SC is one of the only companies that comes out with retro fits, the postless deck the single coil deck now the bubble glass. I'v been using my Plus's for about a year now, & my V1 Supremes for a lot longer than that, thats getting your monies worth![]()
