Sitting down, facing forward.

That looks interesting but I still have to wonder about heat generated by such a fast charge degrading battery life. 60kWH is a lot of power in 15 minutes and that will generate significant heat in the batteries no matter how the charge is managed, as in 4,000 watts per minute. On the other hand you could cook dinner while charging the car making it even "greener". Might give a whole new meaning to "smokin' hot car".

To carry my cynicism a little further, it takes about five minutes at the gas pump to give me about 400 miles in range with my old Jeep that gets crappy mileage. So it isn't as fast as a standard carbon powered vehicle even at those rates. Then, there's the question of where that 60kWH hours of electricity comes from in the first place.

A practical use might be in battery storage for large solar arrays to be able to supply power under cloudy conditions, short daylight times (winter time) or at night. Larger battery arrays, with appropriate cooling, could be used to improve the capacity of existing solar farms as an example since more batteries could be charged in the same amount of time.

Threaded glass... Another novelty like DIY mesh coils for RDAs/RTAs...

Steam Crave Glaz RDTA jumped a thread today as it fell over on a padded surface. Still working, no leaking but it's going to be a treat getting that tank off without busting the glass chimney. So I opened a ticket on FT to add a 2 pack of chimneys to the BB order. It's really not a tank for the EDC, I'm surprised it ha lasted this long without incident, a semi restricted draw and great flavor (flatwire coils) is the only reason I carry it.

Could try heating the metal, might expand just enough to ease it's grip on the glass. A drop of some kind of lube above the threads and let it wick it might help too.

Threaded Glass, bottom air flow, 2 big reasons I passed on it :(
IDK about the heat! I would lube the heck out of the threads, before trying to take it apart!
Try injecting some VG into the threads with a syringe?
Who knows maybe you'l get lucky & the glass won't break?

So, I finally found a round tuit and got some 24 gauge Ti from Temco. It came in today so I rebuilt my Supreme V2 with it. 5/6 wraps on a 6mm allen wrench and built it as a single coil. This is the first time I've ever been able to do a complete rebuild without using a jewelers loupe! That's a big coil! Came in at about .24 ohms which isn't too bad. Put the tank back on my N1/250C and holy vapors Batman! This thing is amazing!

I did fool with the coil height, taking off just a millimeter at a time, until I was happy it was high enough and wouldn't touch the top of the chamber. It took the full rope of Graham (Sally's) to fill the coil, actually making it even easier to wick.

What a beast this thing is but I hate to think of liquid consumption with it.

There was no way I was going to pull a full rope of Sally's rayon threw that Alien coil in the Plus. I had to take almost half away. At least no sign of leaks yet. And just in time, as my 20ml glass for the Plus is out in the mailbox.

Wrapped a Titanium 26g 5 wrap coil 3mm ID for the KF5. Came out to .30 ohm. Why was I supposed to try Titanium wire again? I stabbed myself 4 times working with that stiff wire.

What is the ID of that coil?
Never mind, I see, well it would depend on just how tight that you rolled it. For a 3 mm ID I use a full piece also but I roll it tight and it lengthens it till it fits.
