Wonder why this isn't an issue discussed at the evolv forum? You would think a battery drain issue would be fairly easy to identify? I know I'd be happy if this issue was fixed :)
Well the Triade 250Cs doesn't seem to drain at all. I only charge them to 4.1v and not 4.2v. The 2 cell 250C seems to drain a bit, but only so far. Sitting for 6 months and still at 50% or better isn't a lot to worry about. I think it will take years to get down to 0%. My DJI Phantom drones, I have 5 batteries and they have the charger built into the pack (that is so stupid). And I have to charge them every 2 months whether I use them or not. Because if I don't, in about 6 months they will be dead and they cost $150 each.

I no longer have any "C" variants, reverted back to good ole "mono". Just seems easier to me. The vape is the same, but less mucking with stuff.

It's still a known issue. I'm sure Evolv knows about it? If not it should be brought to their attention. Even if it don't affect you.

A drain is a drain, & should be addressed. My old 250's don't drain, I can leave them for months & they keep the charge :) Also to say the clock is the issue makes no sense cause the 75c drains very little in comparison.

My non-C DNAs doesn't drop a bit either. Nor does it look like my 3-cell 250C does. It is only the 2-cell ones. Anybody have a 4-cell 250C?

Let's say that a 2-cell 250C drains 800mah per month. I don't think it is that high, but... That's 26mah per day. That is just over an 1ma drain. So how much does the clock draw? An 1ma draw for a clock sounds about right to me.

Umm, yes. My ERM with draining 4S LiPo that drains, was built by them
And now I am sleeping 6 to 8 hours again
    This might seem really odd.
I haven't used an alarm clock in over 30 years but when I did, I'd always wake up about a minute before the alarm time.
Now, about 90% of the time I wake up at 6am, no alarm. Ready to drink coffee. If I wanna get up earlier, I just say the time to myself, and my internal clock wakes me up on time. No drain on clock there. :D

I'm so childish, but you might need a dictionary to understand this next comment.
There's a somewhat new thread called "Next On Dr. Phil, "Vaping's Made Me ....!"" and in my feeble mind, at first glance I added the word 'like' after the penultimate word. :( Boy was I wrong.

However, that last word does appear in the comments 7 times, and 'like' 28 times either due to comments or the options at the bottom of each post.

    Carry on!

Okay I grabbed one Drone. I tried hooking up a meter with one end of a battery removed and it was too hard to hold the probes and stuff with two hands. I thought about just using a power supply, but I grabbed one 18350 instead. That was much easier to hold. Here is what I got.
    • 30ma screen on
    • 15ma screen off
    • 7ma sleep
That's 168mah per day. It must drop lower than that after 30 minutes or so. Because in 20 days the battery would be dead.

    They all drain Bill all the 250c's! I have dual 18650, dual 20700 4S 3S. 6 250c's in total
The clock argument is invalid!! the 75c is the same chip, give or take & it drains very little.

But why aren't my Triades 250C draining at all? They are running 3 cell v1.1.33INT. Why I have the International version installed on them, I don't know. As I am never going to vape at 300 watts anyway.

Thats a good question for Evolv! I to have International F/W on all mine.
I have no triple round cell 250c's, maybe there is some thing about that config, That makes a difference?
All mine drain @ about the same rate, roughly 5% per 24 hrs :(

I thought Windows XP could use the first 2TB of a larger drive as long as that partition was 2TB or smaller at the beginning of the drive? This XPSP2 can't see anything on this 8TB external drive with the first partition of 2TB. That is why I have that partition, just for my XP machines. I'm not stuck, because I have lots of 1TB USB drives around. But it is an extra step getting stuff to the 8TB drive. :(

GPT or MBR partition? XP can't read GPT partitions.

I got that Chinese leather cellphone wallet today. But what the Chinese calls leather, we call cardboard.

Also got those two 4TB external 2.5 inch drives that I ordered last Friday from BestBuy. They were on sale for $79.99 each and last weekend they went back up to $199.99. And today they are on sale for $149.99. I haven't shopped much at BestBuy before since the closest one is 100 miles away. But their prices sure jump around a lot.

While my laptop which I ordered earlier on Friday hasn't shipped yet. :-x

GPT or MBR partition? XP can't read GPT partitions.
I only use MBR partitions. Oh wait, I did this on a Windows 8.1 machine using Manage. I don't know what it defaults to, but it should have been MBR. I won't know until I pop another computer into this dock.

I have this one on my iPhone 8+ :) Got it at BestBuy for about $40, the leather is real nice & thick, the stiching is good also :)
I had a similar one on my 6+ for over 2 years, it held up well :)

Yes, I probably should have went that route. I usually buy these for my cellphones.

But the only Apple product I liked and bought was an iPhone SE. Then in February I heard they discontinued them back in September and had no newer one to replace it. Mine was still working great, but I was watching for a spare now. Found Apple had some at their store, so I grabbed another one. And I was going to store that one in the wallet. But I don't think that Chinese wallet will last too long in a drawer either.
