Yeah Boxxer's and Rebel's were always above my paygrade. ;)
Nice on the Odins, they should be great mods!

I'v watched a few reviews for the Odin, Mike Fakes has one out, He shows the Odin beside the Boxer. The Odin looks quite a bit bigger! Also the battery door flap isn't my favourite, that looks like a weak point down the road :( The bevels on the top of it also don't look estically pleasing to me :( In the reviews I watched a 30mm fits nice even with the top bevels but any thing bigger does not :( I am hoping it has a fairly good quality 510?
TBH I would much rather the Boxer! But it's a bit too rich for my budget :( Especially when it will end up at work getting bumped & busied :(

Gee... all of these Boxxer's, Rebel's, and Odins talk and I am here gushing over my new to me Kanger K1 DNA75 mods. Same size as a BB, except not as long by 12mm. :D

They were a great deal for 15 bucks apiece. :D

How much was shipping?
When I looked at them, I would have had to spend a lot to get free shipping. Or pay a lot for shipping :(
To get free shipping was a $75 minimum order and at 15 bucks each, five would get you to 75 bucks. So that is what I did. I would have paid 75 bucks for one actually. You can't even buy a DNA75 board for 15 bucks. Let alone one with a stabilized wood mod included. ;) Although I believe shipping was like 10 bucks for up to 2 mods and 3+ was something like 15 bucks.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I got a couple of those K1s a while back when somebody had a sale, for $15 I think. Nice little mod and they're both still going strong after about two years. They are a little on the heavy side and mine aren't stab wood, but still a decent deal at the time and now.

My package that was sitting at my local post office waiting for "acceptance" since Saturday actually moved today. It moved over about four towns to the South Jersey Distribution Center so it can come back to the local post office AGAIN!!!! What's with these lunatics?

If you get one with any issues, I've seen Ginger get almost frothing at the mouth rabid with end users. But they do look well engineered.

Man, if they do free shipping to Canada, you could talk me into splitting shipping with you, if I got 2. ;)
Guessing sales aren't as expected .................. till they're all sold out. :D

I believe it was more poor timing and the long delay thing. As it bought time for Dovpo to get the Topside Dual out. As that really had taken the wind out of the Drone's sails.

I was unaware that they had customer service issues :( I still don't care, if the price was better I would have bought 2 of them :) Once there here in Canada I would just fix any thing I could my self any way, instead of sending it back to the States

I'l keep that in mind the next time some thing like this comes up, Splitting the shipping could be the difference needed to make it viable :)

I got a couple of those sitting on the shelf for 2 years. Both have sticky fire buttons ... not a nice feature.

One of mine had a sticky fire button, too. I took it apart and did a little filing, with jewelers files, on the button and posts for it. When I put it back together I wiped the button and posts with a tiny dab of silicon lube. Seemed to work out for me, anyway.

About as far as I went was to put a couple tiny drops of silicone in each of 'em. It worked for awhile, then started sticking again. My fix was just to pick up another mod w/o a sticky fire button. I'm such a procrastinator, I keep saying some day I'll take 'em apart, that's what they've been sitting for 2 years and not in the trash.

I haven't opened the other four up yet. But this one I am using now, the buttons are flawless.

I've been inside mine, real easy. I think that I used heavier gauge wire on my Hana 40's up and down buttons than Kanger used for power and fire but it seems to work well regardless.
