so i just got my first dna 75 mod and im getting a weak vape. i measured the mod resistance at .008 and upload the csv for SS 316L from steam engine.

i'm running a serpent mini with a .41 coil and it keeps hitting temperature protect immediately and is only give it like like 7-8 watts. i have the temperature set to 260c and the watts at 22. I lowered the watts to 17, but i'm still getting the same issue.

any help is appreciated

So I'v been noticing some thing, I bring 2 Supremes to work every day, 1 from FT & the other from a vape shop here in Canada (paid more for it) 1 Works better than the other, the 1 from the Canadian vape shop makes more vapor & it's thicker denser vapor to. At first I thought it was the build or the wicking. But I rewick them both every few days, they get a lot of use during a 15 hour day. They both have the same coils in them, both use the same settings on the DNA200's, often get switched from 1 to the other.
Most of my juices are made the same, same flavouring %ages same VG PG %ages

I started thinking, I have 1 OG mizer from SC & it works way better than the other 5 from FT!
Same kind of thing better vapor production & thicker denser better tasting vapor.

Now, is it posable FT get some sort of seconds or blems? & thats why they can sell them cheeper? When I get some free time I'm going to really look them over good!
I'm sure some thing has to be a little different?

Anyone else notice this? or is it just me?

BTW I'm really liking the K-F V5. great flavour & vapor production. Not to mention way better battery life with a single coil :) I need a few more. Didnt I just say I had enough gear :facepalm:
Is Fasttech all fake?

Here is a few interesting links I found..
The Future is Here
and..
Library Simplified · Home

I will have to check if any of the local libraries are using it..

With the mizers from FT the authenticity code rings true. But why don't they work as well as one's from SC? Thats why I was asking about seconds or blems?
It's not my imagination, I can tell the difference between the 2 Supremes,
& the OG mizer's I have.

already rebuilt and having the same issue ... i'm pretty sure i don't have a hot leg
If your getting Temp protect your wicking is wrong or there is some thing wrong in your E-Scribe settings. Isn't there a built in TCR for 316 SS? try using that one instead of Steam Engines.

i don't have a lot of wick in it, and it seems to be wicking well. this was also happening when i was using a tank with a Titanium coil :/

I've been thinking about your post since reading it. Perhaps they made some minor changes with design. I suggest measuring all holes as well a thickness of the deck where the juice feed holes are. Is the cold and hot resistance change the same percentage (DNA)? Also distance from the bottom of the deck to base needs compared. Kind of just thinking out loud here maybe.

So no fishing or hunting knives or do you take the kitchen knife with you?
The kids that do the stabbings mainly use kitchen knives from cheap homeware stores. Technically you can have anything except an auto release type, like a flick knife or butterfly knife, but you have to be able to justify it. I have read anecdotes of a plumber being prosecuted for an exacto style lock knife in a toolbox and a one armed botanist prosecuted for a lock knife for collecting mushroom samples for his work, impossible to know how true these are. Up to 3" non locking are considered the max limit for what is reasonable, but you still need a reason to be in possession of it. Larger than 3" folding or fixed blade need more justification, they as do all lock knives. It is a few years since I looked into this so I may be wrong on ta few details. If you were dear stalking in Scotland I'm sure a hunting knife would be OK, I take a 6" fixed blade camping plus normal kitchen knives car camping, but it is what the cop thinks that matters.

I was talking to a mate who is a Scout leader last week about this and he said now knives have to be locked away when not in use and all activity has to be documented. He used to take a large machete and fry eggs on it, no more. It's a crazy world, a knife is one of the first tools developed by man and one of the most versatile and we are going to bring up generations that have no idea how to handle them safely.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I used to work at a job installing networks back before 10BaseT, think LatticeNet. Anyhow, one of our big customers was Uncle Sam and I was forever going in and out of Federal facilities, and this was back in the late 70's early 80's. I was in LA working in a Federal Facility, downtown, and got stopped the second day going in. I had a stainless steel money clip that had a tiny folding knife and fingernail file in my pocket and hence in the basket of things that might set off a metal detector. I was told that it was a "banned weapon", the blade was, at most, an inch long. I carefully explained to the supervisor that I was doing work in the building and had a tool box full of sharp and nasty cutting instruments at the work location, the US Attorney's Office, that had been through security when I came in the first time. Common sense is not an option. After some discussion, and phone calls, I did get through with that money clip and never had a problem again.

I bought this stupid key thing somewhere for $4 or $5, they were like $20+ (I'm sure I got it from some clearance center or discount store?)

My wife made fun of me, my sons made fun of me... I've used it so many time! It's come in sooo handy more times than I can remember. It's a knife, screwdriver(s), can opener or bottle opener (I think anyway). But I've used the knife cutting edge and screwdrivers enough to justify buying and keeping it on my keys for years now. I only wish it didn't open up on both sides to easily come off the ring. Scissor action to open it releases it from the ring, I'd like it stay on the keyring until I forcibly remove it. But otherwise it's great.

Wire size is a function of current, not power. Since the DNA75 is working with roughly one third the voltage to produce roughly one third the power, the wire sizes should be about the same...same current demands.

I have one of those key knives too, sharper than heck!

Ok. Just googled UK knife rules. You can't carry a knife with a blade longer than 3" in public "without good reason" and if charged, the courts decide if you had a good reason. What a vague and strange law.
