After using these LiPo units I am considering picking up a 4S or 5S for my Big Al's iPWM board which will take up to 6S. I have it mounted in a GXL case so I'll have to find a battery that fits the enclosure with enough clearance for the center mounted Varitube 510V2.

Any suggestions on a decent, basic external LiPo charger as the board has no charge capability.

Unless your wanting such high voltage output why not just use a large 3S, just asking as I'm lacking in understanding why.

There are quite a few lipo chargers we use in the RC. Although I am not up on the latest and I am still using two from the 90's I think. Why? Because they still work great. But they didn't have balance charging back then (I don't know why) and if one cell needed more charging, we charged it individually back then. Also cv/cc (variable) power supplies works well too. Here is a meter that is really handy for lipos. Just plug it into the balance plug. You can find them on eBay, Amazon, etc. I'd stay away from any lipo charger under $50. As they are usually not very safe.

Here is the scenario, the steam crave Titans deck is parallel or series.

I have a pair of coils in it now on the parallel deck that come out to 0.3Ω, running those on the PWM with dual 30T requires 28A/235W, you control the pulse width which in turn will reduce the on time so you are not getting 235W for the duration of the vape. ;)

I have a pair of 0.5Ω framed staples that I want to use in the Titan, putting those on the parallel deck brings the resistance down to 0.25Ω and increases the current draw to 34A, a little too close to the battery limit for me.

Now if I put those coils on the series deck it brings the build resistance to 1Ω. The 30T are only going to put 70W into that build which would not be satisfactory at all.

Here is where the LiPos come into play

3S - 11A/123W, not quite enough power.
4S - 14A/219W, now were talking for a 150W vape.
5S - 18A/342W, would be more than enough power and nice to see 18.5V on the voltmeter when it's sitting on the counter at the local neck beard shop. ;)

More for novelty and silly clouds than as a daily driver.

Thanks!
I'll check the RC charger reviews and see how much I want to actually spend for something I might use every once and a while.

Depending were your buying from, shipping for lipos can get expensive :( Amazon is a good choice :) If you have Prime & get free shipping :)
Amazon is probably where it will come from and Prime is a must have. ;)

There are quite a few charger reviews on YouTube too. :)

Wonder why they went with visible screws? Wouldn't magnet or glue worked there just as well with out the unsightly screw heads :(

I dunno, my feelings are mixed about it. On the black chopped fiber, you almost can't see them. The Abalone ones the screws are covered. But the others, umm... well you know. But they do sell leather cases for $15 each to hide them. ;)

I finally got around to doing a build on one of my Geekvape Zeus X tanks. I used a single coil Demon Killer Alien V2 just like I did in my Coral 2 RDA. They are huge 3mm coils that takes a few seconds to get up to vaping temperatures and keeps vaping seconds after you stop firing. I thought the legs might be too thick to fit into the posts, but they do fit. ;)

I never thought I would like a top airflow RTA. But I heard how they did the airflow over the coils and I was impressed. So I toke a chance and bought 3 of them for free shipping. So glad I did now. The vape and flavor between the RDA and the RTA are identical. If I didn't know what I was vaping on, I couldn't tell. Now I can't wait for my Zeus X Mesh tanks to come from China. I am expecting them pretty soon. I already have spools of mesh to try.

And talk about keeping the outside of the tank bone dry, this thing is terrific. I never really had a problem with tanks leaking, just condensation build up that leaves everything wet on the outside. But these tanks absolutely nothing. I vaped through 10ml already since early this morning (mainly chain vaping) and it is still dry. Even while laying it on its side. :)

This is the kind of vape I have been trying to get from my Aromamizers. I don't even think I can get these Demon Killer Alien V2 coils even to fit into them. And all of that SS taste I get from those Aromamizers isn't good either. :(
