Those were the heyday of vaping for sure, the fun times when spending hours building and tinkering was good. These days it's enough just to keep regular maintenance on a few rigs.
It's been a downhill slide since I stopped using Kayfuns and FeVs.

I'm still using an FEV! Easy to build, single coil, easy to fill, great flavor and pretty much indestructible.
Yup, metal tank, no glass to break. I widened out the air intakes and drilled out the drip tip to improve airflow. It's three pieces, the base with the 510 and build deck, the chimney slips on and there's a locationg pin to keep the wick aligned with the feed holes for the mesh, and the tank threads onto the chimney. To fill, simply pour right out of the bottle.

That's the one, it's a much newer version than the FeV3 and VS that I ran.
I really liked the glass conversion kit for them.

I remember back in the day when I first got my F E , the mesh feeders worked so well I could easily run 80 watts on a single coil! Back then they were way ahead of there times! I got the glass tank kit for mine it was a nice improvement to see the juice I still have mine, but it hasn't been in rotation in quite some time

Canada Day falling on a Wednesday, made for a weird situation Some people worked today & are taking Friday off to get a long weekend, some took today & are working Friday. I worked today & will be working Friday also, don't feel sorry for me I had an easy day & made good $
My son picked these up from the floor when I asked him to show me why he was using a USB hub today with his Macbook air. It has just the two "C" ports.
Told me they were BT and used a dongle. I said they must be 2.4 gHz and to show me.
In the end I said "$200 headphones and your just putting them on the floor with the rest of your junk, sounds about right to me". I told him to keep them in their box when he wasn't using them.
