My Kree 24 was starting to taste a little burnt like so I figured it was time for some maintenance. I found one of the post screws loose, more than loose actually, like maybe a full turn. The ohms only increased by 0.05 somehow.
Edit: I'm at work now and need to open it up and trim my tail length, it's hitting temp and throttling down.

I wish that I had taken a "before" snip but here it is with about 1.5 mm cut from the end of each tail. Before it would hit the temp setting and throttle back to 22-24 watts.
