Nah :) In some other thread someone specifically said that would not allow paypal to be used for you 'mericans. BUT you guys know 3 canucks here if it ever really hits the fan ;)
The "Aspire" gift certificate workaround should do the job I suppose. You guys have enough stuff, I ain't buying you no more.

My neighbor buys those for $40 plus tax monthly. Loses 'em, drops them in the lake, etc. And too lazy to order from China, or have me order for him. Same for the pods. 3 pasitos in the house for the wife, and 1 Vinci X I won. Now that I typed that I can't remember the last time I rebuilt her coil. Must be at least 2 months. :( She's got the OG coils still new in blister packs. :nah:

Hey TrollDragon, a buddy of mine just sent over some tube porn he owns. I don't know anything about them, so I'll go have a listen when this madness is over. And what's life like in NS? Bans and taxes started yet?

WOW! All I can say is WOW!

The Pathos Classic One is awesome but that Don Garber X/Y setup is quite the collectors piece, there are not many of them in the wild. It would been a pleasure to hear them both especially the X/Y.

The NS Vape tax (20%) is in full effect along with the regular HST (%15). I don't have any problem with that added tax it's no big deal. The thing I do have issue with is the $0.50 per ml juice tax, that's just ludicrous. The 130ml bottles of Exotics juice (70-30 PG/VG) that we sell to Nautilus/Evod (they are still out there) users has jumped from $46 after taxes to $120.75. Still cheaper than smoking but still...

Nova Scotia is starting to drop off of western Canada online retailers as a shipping option. Sites such as 180 Smoke remove all juice listings if you select NS as your initial location. You can put a different province in there and actually use your NS mailing address for shipping but that loop hole will eventually close. The NS government has set into effect that wholesalers have to meet a bond to ship to NS and collect the vape taxes, a lot of them will just not bother as it's too many PiTA hoops to jump through for our market.

They limited our max nicotine level to 20mg and the pod products we sell like Vuse (Imperial Tobacco), don't offer any lower level nicotine options (other than zero) to help people taper off.

There is a retailer in Dartmouth that is taking the government to court over the new legislation and we will see how that works out, Patterson Law is handling the case and the projected cost will probably be a 1/4 million when all said and done. They have a fair bit of funding so we'll see how that all turns out but it will be a long time to get legislation overturned and people will just go back to smoking which is what the government wants. If the court case fails here then I can see this legislation going across Canada, we've had customers say that this would NEVER happen in Ontario or Alberta, (some of them have a little of that western Canada arrogance...) but i wouldn't count on it PEI is already putting a flavor ban in place.

Speaking of Imperial Tobacco, they dropped off this lovely 800lb display case a while back, all mirrored with perimeter/backlighting, iPad connection etc. It's been repurposed to a store stereo stand, the little Qinpu on the bottom shelf and Alexa dishing up the Spotify on the right. :w00t:

They didn't fill that case with product and it won't have any in it down the road. Their consignment program is quite unique, it allows them to fill stock as they see fit and automatically dip into your bank account for payment.

Wow! Do we have that in Ontario? I just ordered 8 litres of 60/40 VG PG mix for $130, add a little Nic & some Flavouring & I'm still making juice for Cheap!
I'm wondering how they will tax DIY'ers? Cause it's a matter of when not IF!

Local grocery store had Briskets on sale for $3 a pound. Decided to try my hand at pastrami since Katz is so far away. Started curing it a week ago, then the desalinization step, then smoked it a few hours. Tonight is the big debut, its in the steamer now. Wish me luck....

This is the recipe I used:

As long as you can get nic in Ontario you shouldn't have a problem, they were talking about making it illegal to ship nic across provincial boundaries just like cigarettes.

DIY is the way to go but users can't get nic in province, a business will have to bring it in and then resell it.

OK, its not Katz, not by a long shot, nonetheless it is pretty damn good. I am sure next time it will be better as I learn and tweak, me thinks a little longer in the smoker, maybe to to 160f instead of 150f.

BTW, cure your own brisket, dont buy the grocery pre-cured corned beef. I did one of each, then desalinated/rub/smoked/steamed both together exactly the same. There was a noticeable difference. Both were damn good, but the home cured was the winner in both texture and flavor. The view is worth the climb.

The Pathos he lets the GF use, and I think he mentioned that Don guy died recently.

Is that the Charter of Rights case? (Our 'bill of rights' for Americans) with an eeny teeney twist. In it, there's also a 'notwithstanding' clause that the federal or provincial government government can invoke. Basically an I don't care if it's in certain parts of the charter. I think only Quebec has ever used it.
As long as you can get nic in Ontario you shouldn't have a problem
I wonder if anyone's attempted to order in Hiliq? Or what their packaging is like?

Dang... I was going to make my Oscar Mayer Beef Bologna with shredded mozzarella cheese burrito tonight. But after seeing what Mike had, I changed my mind.
