Wowza! Can you believe that shipping cost. I had 4 moli's in my cart and thought the shipping (Economy Shipping Canada (5-10 Days) $27.56) was outrageous due to that, but no siree Bob or @Steamer861 @TrollDragon

    18650batterystore.com
    Opus BT-C3100 v2.2 4 Bay Digital Battery Charger $24.99
    Subtotal $24.99
    Shipping $27.56
    Total USD $52.55

Pondering if I should send 'em to my Aunt in WV, but it could be a long time before I get to go visit. :(

I don't believe I ever had pastrami. Added it to the list. I imagine it is similar to corned beef?
Way tastier than corned beef IMHO. Corned beef gives you the "cured" flavor. Pastrami adds significant spice and smoke to that cured flavor.

you see that grain in your meat? my boy's was smooth, hardly any grain at all :?: that's what i meant by dense
That could "possibly" be in the curing. When I bought a store cured brisket and did them side by side with my own cure, there was less grain, and slight bubbles in the store bought. I suspect they used pressure to speed the curing process in packaged corned beef.

I dont have enough experience to say whether the cure was too long/short, or possibly wrong ratios of salts, but the cure is a definite possibility. I strictly followed the calculator on amazingribs for my cure parameters, albeit at the high nitrite PPM end.

he mentioned he left the brisket a bit longer in the brine than recommended - i make sure to tell him to stick to the recommendations next time!

Still looks like a deal compared to Amazon! You can get free shipping with Prime, if you're willing to pay $140 for the charger!! WTF!
How can prices vary So Much! $25 @ 18650 $65 @ Walmart & $140 at Amazon, Again WTF!!

If you look @ both WalMart and Amazon online, they're nowhere near cheap, and even their ships and sold by can be way off. Add in those 3rd party sellers and it's a real free for all. Within the last 2 weeks here are 2 more examples. Snowblower gas tank replacement. Canada $85.99 + tax. USA $36 plus $12 shipping USD of course. Same exact Tecumseh part, arrived at the border 2 days later. Cuisinart 20 year old food processor, needed the plastic bowl and lid. Amazon $55 CDN for the bowl and the same for the lid. Called Cuisinart canada where they were $21 and $25 respectively. :(

This was posted over yonder, I think it has a place here too.

I have an ABM2 75c with a 21700, just begging to be upgraded to this!
The ABM2 works flawless but it's a plain aluminum box :( This Grus is pretty stylish :) I wish he would have shown the usb cable fitment? The USB looks counter sunk a bit? wonder if it will connect well? I'm not the biggest fan of the screw on battery Cap, but even thou it's a bit of a hassle, it will last in the long run :) The big centred 510 & the 21700, sells it for me :)

FT sells the Grus for $33, no map :) So in a few days it will be 15% lower than that with the BF Sale :)
