19 years at my last job, got laid off last June due to Covid. It hit me rather hard as I thought I would retire there. One year later I am comfortably settled into a new, higher paying (& more interesting) job. It required relocation to the coast, awe damn
. Finding a new home in this crazy real estate market was a challenge, took over 3 months. Alas I finally found one, we close on June 30th.
