i thought so ;) 8 gb is plenty for me and while 8 Mbps are sufficient for most application i'm rather happy to see downloads at 50 Mbps with just 2 bars. remember, i was the one with the string and 2 cans as per mikeP not that long ago :D
i can turn the iphone into a hot spot in case something goes wrong with my other sources

Here's my wimpy plan I had for many years with Consumer Cellular. This plan doesn't even exist anymore (its grandfathered) and if I cancel it, I can't get it back. As you might have guessed, I don't use my phone except in emergencies.

Yes 2G ended here back in January 1, 2017. Although T-Mobile continued to support 2G since many home security alarms, car trackers, and even vending machines still use them. The closest T-Mobile tower to me is over 100 miles. :(

I believe support for 3G ends everywhere in the US on February 22, 2022. I guess Verizon dropped 3G back in 2019. I wonder how long 4G LTE is going to be around before it gets dropped?
