If it were a driver issue the boot screen would show then when Windows boots then if there were a driver issue it would then be happening. It probably is just a bad card.
When I get home I'm going to change the power supply and put the card in. If it doesn't work I'll pull the card and set the bios to both and check. (and put the card back in and check)Go into the BIOS Setup and try this.
MSI r9 270 - no display after installing
If the BIOS doesn't know it is there, Windows won't see it either.
@dwcraig1 When you got your PC it came with a "matched" set of components, (synergy) why are you straying from that setup? What are you trying to achieve? Does the PC work well with the Original set of matched components? My son seems to think, if you add in a new component with out checking if it will work well with the rest of your set up, this is causing your problems.Checking your Synergy only means check your compatibility.
Short answer, they built it with the components that I chose. I'm just adding a power supply (should have had them put a better one in when assembled) and video card. The fact that there is a problem using the video card is bugging me. I don't do any gaming just video conversion ect.@dwcraig1 When you got your PC it came with a "matched" set of components, (synergy) why are you straying from that setup?
