Say dwcraig1, I never heard of nicotine affecting BP more than a few hours after your last exposure. And those cotinine (a nicotine metabolite) oral drug screen tests can't detect nicotine in your body about 10 to 14 days after.

You never mentioned if you take BP medication or not. Because with medication under the supervision of your doctor, your BP can be brought under control. I'm not a big fan of using medication, but sometimes it is best if there is no other way.

Another thing is, some that has been vaccinated, have reported problems with their BP bouncing around a lot. There are quite a few Youtube videos about this online. My sister is fully vaccinated and she is one of them who now has problems with high blood pressure. I worry about her a lot. Luckily it seems to be getting better slowly with time.

Nicotine messes with blood pressure a couple of ways. By increasing heart rate and by causing blood vessels to shrink especially the tiny ones.
I take too many medication now and have been taking most for about 15 years. The idea here is to not have to take even more.
salt is another thing I have to try to control and that's a hard one.

I have been taking Prilosec for heart burn for almost 30 years now. And without it, I would be consuming a case of Tums a week (yes, I've done that before). Another doctor in 2001 gave me BP and diabetic meds which I reluctantly had taken. But that was a disaster which left me sadly in a confused state and gave me overall muscle aches. I tossed them all out.

Then in 2007, another doctor said I really should be taking meds for BP and diabetes. So I tried it again. BP meds worked and this time instead of diabetic meds like metformin (which gave me trouble before), gave me insulin instead. I gave insulin shots to my ex for years, so I was ok with that. And they have been all working fine for the past 15 years.

Yes, they say salt intake can effect BP. Over the years, I sometimes crave salt and sometimes I don't. I haven't paid enough attention if it effects my BP or not. But I'll try to see from now on if it makes a difference.

Be careful from staying away from all salt. Once, I felt horrible and I had this strange craving of french fries with lots of salt. And that did the trick.

FUNNY STORY: One time I was in the hospital for my annual checkup. And two very attractive young nurses were touching me all over hooking things up (they were not shy at all). And one said that my BP was sky high. I said because you two had their hands allover me (and kept shoving their boobs in my face). They didn't believe me. So I asked them to step outside and they did and they could see the BP machine through a window and my BP dropped back to normal. ;)

My blood pressure shot up after the second shot and I got on cozaar to bring it down. I hope to get off it, but need to lose some lbs. first.

Oh, I forgot to mention about your 12mg nic Peanut Brittle. When I made up a batch, I too thought it was a bit harsh. As I'm not used to that strong of flavoring.
There are a few things you could do with his Peanut Brittle recipe that will help.

Cut the percentages down. Perhaps in half.

Adding a cream, or two, will help to reduce harshness. A cream, IMO, would also enhance the overall profile.

A few creams to consider: FLV Cream 1%-1.5%; WF Vanilla Cream Extra 1%; FA Cream Fresh 1%.

Creams would also help any dryness experienced from the PB and RY4. They would also lend a small amount of sweetness to the mix.

A marshmallow instead of TPA Cotton Candy would do the same in adding sweetness and also creaminess.

Adding a vanilla would also enhance the overall profile. Something like INW Shisha Vanilla at 1%.

Dwcraig1's recipe:
I shall put the recipe for my Peanut Brittle here. RY4 double is most important in the mix.
7% TPA Peanut Butter
7% TPA RY4 Double
3% TPA Cotton Candy (for sweetener)
1.5% TPA Acetyl Pyrazine (corn chip like)
Use less or none on the Cotton Candy as desired.

dwcraig1 Me and my eagle eye noticed it was 10 years ago today you signed up, so Happy vapeaversary or something like that.

BillW50 through thick and thin my BP has always stayed at a rock steady 120/80 for the last 35 years. However when I have to wait for my Dr appointment, sometimes it'll be up to 140 and I make sure to tell him it's due to the wait. On the way out he'll make me recheck and although the nurse is cute it's back down to regular (same nurse as the 140 reading)
