Tell me about it. I never tried that one and now I wish I did. Sweet-Vapes also made Nutty Coffee and I just loved that stuff. Although it wasn't really nutty or coffee tasting. Although I don't know how to describe it as nothing I ever tasted was like it. I went to order some more on the 7th and they removed all of their house brands. :(
As with their Kona latte, didn't taste like Kona latte cause I've been trying in vain to make it. No luck so far but I'm going to keep trying. Damm that juice was good, oh well.

Those who didn't get any or,,,, who didn't get enough,

there is 1 white one there, use "ljc15" for 15% off.

Hotcig DX200 DNA Kit | Ecig.com

Could there be more coming?
They are always gone before I get there. See they they do have the Hohm Wrecker 151 in stock w/ FSK Intellichip Temperature Control though. That is the one they were saying could do temp control on Kanthal Right? Anybody ever try one of those to see if it ever even came close to simulating a semblence of temp control on kanthal?

I seem to remember Mike was talking about them at one point.

Yeah, I looked at them, it struck me as a promising tech. However PBusardo did some reviews on it that werent flattering. PBusardo demonstrated a more/less standard Kanthal build that it repeatedly wouldnt control. Turned into a bit of scrap between him and the president of the company.

Now this was about 4ish(?) months ago, they may have improved the firmware since then.

Ugly & not ergonomic huge box mod w/ worst styling ever. was aware of a scrap w/ Busardo & Busardo having them on to redeem themselves & it ultimately proving to work I thought. That was called the G2 I think. This is the 151.

Not enough appeal in the case to make me want to get one, but If it actually worked w/ Kanthal TC i might be intrigued enough to try it. I don't even know if its the same device.

What appealed to me was the possibility of an "idiot proof" temp control. Something I could hand the GF that just worked regardless of what coil she sticks on it. It wasnt there yet last time I looked, but that admittedly has been a while.

Right now, the GF has no aptitude (desire?) to learn anything about coil materials and how to configure a mod for them. Consequently I just use off the shelf kanthal coil cartridges for her, no options to be concerned with as any mod I give her wont attempt TC with a kanthal coil. She has learned (kind of) not to let the tank run dry and burn up the coil. Would love to get her on TC to avoid the burnt coil thing, but she just doesnt get the concepts associated with TC. She just wants a decent hitting mod with a volume control and no other thought process involved. Probably a lot like the majority of the vaping public. We vape geeks are a minority.

Busardo couldn't handle the complexity of that FSK chip control packet technology that enabled Kanthal temp control with the sliding temp curve as he was initially setting it wrong when he did it solo & why the Holm Wrecker was redeemed when the owner appeared w/ Busardo.

I see zero benefit to TC with kanthal? Or maybe more accurately said would be I see zero advantage to TC using kanthal over ni200, Ti, ss, etc.... TC capable wires are plentiful, cheap, easily accessible, and while ni200 is super soft, the others are fairly rigid and springy similar to kanthal.

Or would there be an advantage that I'm unaware of?

The benefit of being able to use off the shelf coils, in TC mode, without the user "having" to configure the Mod by switching modes or materials or whatever, or even worrying about what material a given coil cartridge is. I.e. "idiot proof" being the holy grail.

But you're right, for me personally, and most other vape geeks, there is no benefit.

The second video just shows them chatting, lots of pseudo engineering talk, and a section at the end where Ben from Holm wrecker says it doesnt work unless you vape high watts. It needs full lung hits. Nothing for mtl vapers. It seems to work well for blowing clouds.

I know they were selling them for $189/ea in the beginning and this one is $65. Quite a difference, but if the technology is hit & miss, what good is it? It was firmware update-able so theoretically if they ever do iron out the kinks all you would need is the latest update to have one hell of a device. If it wasn't so darn bulky, boxy & ugly I'd probably be all over it.

Ok that's what I thought. 99% of the stuff in my "care" (me, the wife, etc) is all rebuildable anyway... And I can guarantee you she is not the one rebuilding them. ;)

I was on this search for "better" TC wire but Tibs put me in my place and said vape what i have and be happy. And that's what I've been doing. I will say the last fitmware update to the dna200 seems to smooth out ss316l vape wise. At least for me it does.

Ok sorry to sidetrack the thread.... I imagined I was being held up by a Rio police man who pointed a loaded coc.ked gun at my forehead, took my money and wallet but left my cell phone and credentials.... Then I realized I was just drunk and stupid and a little bit of an attention ........ Sorry - carry on.
