I've had that happen to me a couple of times in the last year, out for delivery then later shows for next day. My post office has gone through five delivery persons in the last couple years, I think some of them just called it a day when they felt like it. The new guy we have now drives like a bat out of hell, way over 30 MPH. He won't last long cause I know someone will complain, small village here. They picked up an old surplus mini mail truck that's seen better days, the thing needs a muffler and burns oil badly. You can hear it coming down the road with a smoke trail behind it, reminds me of the mail man in the movie Funny Farm.
So who's ready for this damn election to be behind us? I'm going to vote in the morning, I'm not going to watch any news or listen to any reports until Wednesday, so sick of it all, I just want it over with...... Who ever gets elected, I hope this country can heal and we can stop all the hating, it's so divided and so sad see.
We all know Hillary is gonna win in a landslide as much as I loathe the thought. I worry greatly for this country.
Looking at the bright side, Maybe after the election is over they will play a Billion Lives in a theater in my State.

Simple - he read the label, saw it was for you & walked out of the post office to begin his route leaving the package on the counter. Rather than try to whistle for the dogs to try & catch him, the Postmaster thoughtfully rescheduled for tomorrow.Then you wonder why I complain about my mail person

All joking aside, I live in an older hood were the mail person has to go house to house.
Nobody wants this route cause now they just drive up to the big shinny mail box's & drop off every one's mail, in their little compartments. no more house to house & no more walking.
Everyone's lazy today, thats why In my hood we can't keep a mail person
When I was a kid we had the same mail man for ever, He was so reliable you could set your watch by him

We've been through a number of mail carriers in the last year for no reason I can discern. The latest one does drive at 30MPH, up and down our driveway which ain't paved or all that long. Mail, which usually showed up around 2PM now gets here anytime from noon until 6PM.
I had a package from Amazon, Prime, scheduled for Sunday. It never showed, allegedly, because there was no access to the front door at 5:46PM. We were home and the front door was wide open as we enjoyed some warmer weather Sunday. The security cameras show no USPS vehicles or people from 5:30 to 6:00PM. They just didn't bother delivering for whatever reason. It dd show up yesterday and Leo is happy with his new rope toys.

Happy dreaming Willy. It is a dream I share, but still a dream. The stock market was selling off big time to tonight because of the strong showing Trump has made in early polls to force democrats out to vote. Late Voting will go the other way.
Tomorrow will tell, but I'm afraid we will be stuck with her. If Trump was able to carry New Jersey like KTM predicted it would be a different story, but I'm pretty sure Hillary will pull it out.
If not she will steal it in the Electoral College.

I couldn't sleep, I lifted on my snowblower yesterday and screwed my back up badly, again.....
Turned the TV on, wow! Couldn't believe what I was seeing, didn't expect this! Well off to make some hot coco then put the TENS unit and heating pad back on. Going to be a sleepless night, a 30mg morphine pill didn't cut it, I'm in for a few ugly days, ugh!
And FOX is having a rip on Trump fest with Pennsylvania minuets away from reporting as a win and that puts him over the top. I've said it before, FOX is no different the the rest. All these reporters are stumped and just can't figure out how they were so wrong, so out of touch with the people and they can't see it.
