Boy that took that strategy right out of the anti-gun playbook. In the last 4-5 years many states, like here in NY, have passed very vague gun laws. Even the legal branch of the state police here can't interpret them and tell us what is and isn't illegal. So most are playing it safe and staying away from what the police "might" consider an "assault weapon" because no one want's to be the poor sob that gets used as a test case.
