Evolv's testing was using NI coils. Brandon swears that a properly connected NI coil, on a quality atty, on a dna (60 and up) achieves an accuracy of +/- 4 degrees. I dont have the technology to prove or disprove it.

User error/ignorance aside I tend believe Evolv. I own 6 DNAs for a reason.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Hey Mike, I've been really busy today and won't have time read it tonight so a quick question. Did that article about Acetaldehyde cover ingestion or inhalation? There might be a significant difference in the effects depending on delivery, just a guess from a layman who's about to go lay down and get some zzzzs.

Inhalation is covered specifically.

I don't smoke at all. I hope you all don't either. Smoking baaaaad. Vaping goooood.

Vaping goooood, damn right!! After all those years of guilt, trying to quit over and over, now I can vape guilt free and enjoy it! Heck, my wife even lets me vape in the house, and in bed! I use to have to smoke outside, that sucked standing out on the back porch in the freezing cold, middle of the night in my jammies freezing my willy off just to grab a few drags.

Vape em if you got em!!
 :thumb:   :headbang:

Mike, Do you know, is Acetaldehyde from flavorings, the nic base or is it from just VG & PG? If there's a benefit I'll add flavorless nic ejuice back into my rotations. I vaped mainly flavorless nic for some time a couple years ago, no major reason why I can't again.

I am not sure of the answer to that. I do know that Brandon said this particular test was done with a 50/50 PG/VG unflavored. I do not know the nic concentration used.

They used to say flavors are responsible for a great amount of Acetaldehyde from what I read in past, but data apparently is constantly changing as studies learn more. What was believed 2-3 years ago, no longer applies in many instances.

Anyone have a definitive data source link that can give reliable up to date info? Couple of juice companies had started listing known dangers of certain flavorings, but I even forget where I saw that. Sucks getting old.

Thanks, if you hear anymore results from Brandon that you can share I'd be very interested. I'm trying my best to keep my vaping as safe as it can be. I would hate to have to give it up but I would if it came to be it's a higher risk for me, already having throat cancer in my past. Both of my oncologist's told me as far as they were concerned vaping doesn't cause cancer and it was OK for me to keep on vaping if it kept me from smoking, but they both also said there is still a lot of unknowns. What I didn't know until my last check up, once this type of cancer is beaten it's not likely to return and as time passes the chance of it returning grows even less and less, after five years out I won't have to return for any further check up's, four to go.

"Sucks getting old."
Yes it does.... About forty years ago an old timer once told me, "The worst part about being old is I'm a young man trapped in an old mans body." Now I'm getting there and I know just what he meant. The mind is more then willing, I still mentally feel young but the body it just battered, beaten, weathered, worn, torn, tired and missing important parts. But a lot of that is my own fault, I worked hard and played harder, it was too much abuse and too little maintenance. I had fun but now I paying for it. :(

It happens, I heading down that road now. But I am still traveling the road on my own two feet.....

LoL, I can't even claim that anymore. I'm still traveling down the road but with only one of my own feet, the other is a high tech carbon fiber. :2cool:

Love that shirt, made my morning. :)
