I don't see a thing wrong with this as long as he externally balance charges his batts. Battery safety in and of itself is paramount no matter how you configure them. I don't consider the regulations being put forth by the FDA as having anything to do with what this guy is doing other than their false allegations of improper use of li-ion batts. So what if he wants a 10ea. 26650 battery mod, how is that any more dangerous than a dual battery unregulated box mod?
The FDA was going to, is going to and will always insist on regulating anything that brings tax dollars into the coffers and money under the table from BT and BP, doesn't matter what we do in here or anywhere else. If they don't have a reason they'll make one,...,.....end rant.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I'll have to remember to stop stabbing my LiPO packs with a screwdriver and not run them through the paper cutter any more. Looked to be hard on the paper cutter anyway.

It is interesting that the magic smoke didn't leak out of that battery though.

@MacTechVpr linked it in another thread. Pretty interesting stuff. Twice the energy density, and wont flame/explode when damaged. Uses a solid polymer instead of liquid electrolytes.

Thats an awful lot of energy being put in one's face. In the hands of someone educated, maybe. I would just hate to see the copycats among the FB crowd.....
