Question for you guys who have built the modcrate DNA75C. I have the battery sleds and the board screen holder from Shapeways. Did you hardwire the battery or use some sort of clip\contact for the battery sled?

I used 1042 battery sleds for 18650.

Just discovered that Photobucket changed their TOS as of July 5th. Linking of photos on forums like this one is now $400 a year. This feels like blackmail as I now have hundreds of posts all over this forum that are broken.

Yeah, so was photobucket. How do I know FLICKR wont do the same thing once they see PB get away with it.

I am going to look hard at Amazon Prime, I maintain a Prime membership there anyway. If I am going to have to pay, they give a lot more for the money.

True, but what keeps them from doing the same thing? My pics are mine, no photo Bucket, no Flicker, no social media. With few exceptions my pics stay on my storage computer and back up CDs. My pics are precious to me and will not be held hostage by anyone.

I have a local folder of copies of everything I post.
I just used to use Flickr to host.
Now I use FB or attach.

I can only fix the blogs, the older regular posts arent open for editing. Thats assuming I could even find all the broken posts.

Prime wont work, it only allows sharing with up to 5 people.

The test pic above was from my own paid "hosted" domain. It will work, and I wont ever let that expire. I also have unlimited space there. It is just a bit of a pain because I will have to FTP the pics to the server before linking them. At least I will have control of them.

When building them myself I prefer NiFe52 or NiFe52/SS430

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that is correct, the guy from the quote above can probably tell you much more about it [emoji16] but I do know the different alloys have different percentages of nickel/iron on NiFe52, resistherm etc.

Now your talking! NiFe52 claptons work flawless. Excellent TC smoothness and consistency.

Yeah I like to use NiFe52 for either the whole thing or to use SS 430 maybe for the core('s)
