Same here, but if there's no snow I cut my firewood early in the mornings, usually in late fall/winter for the next year's supply. I like cutting wood when the spitters, critters and those fangy things are hibernating. Won't even go out to cut unless it's below 50°.
Weird, but I still enjoy hopping on the tractor, loading up the wood wagon with wood cutting gear and heading to the timber to cut. There's just something about it; being able to see through the timber for hundreds of yards, the sound of the saws, the smell of 2 stroke exhaust, watching the chips fly and the pinch in my back that's telling me, "Soon you'll be too old for this crap"!

Your blessed, man that sounds nice. Tell ya what, let me come stay with you for a couple weeks and I'll cut and chop with you! I LOVE being in the woods, the sounds of nature, the smells, God's best work!

ETA: I'm pushing myself real hard to knock out as much of the work that needs to be done as fast as I can, I'm going to take time to go hunting come hell or high water this year, so looking forward to just being out there. :)

I do count my blessings Willy. Pretty happy where I'm at. I never turn down help with putting up firewood either, so come on down here and while you're here you can help me thin the deer herd. At last count I need to take out about 15 does and five bucks to get the population to a manageable level; they're stripping too much foliage off our orchard trees.

Wow, I got just the thing for that! Trying not to break a promise so I'll just put this link here and you can check it out, (there's a cool video there to). Got to be buddy's with this guy who designed this conversion, the first five he built he did at cost and asked me and four other's to give them a run and let him know if there were any issues before he went public with them, mine is stamped #5, and I absolutely love it! :)

Interesting lipo in the Penguin podmods.

Its a shorty lipo but it is oval shaped instead of the standard flat packs we see. Nice to see they are starting to play with the lipo form factor, I think there a lot of possibilities.

Mike, I have been eyeing up this for a while now. Sierra DNA75 DNA200 (133) DNA250 (167) by mamu on Shapeways
The original design was for 2 battery tubes but probably could be converted to hold dual 21700's. If you ask Her real nice maybe she will let you, or even her self mod the design for a dual 21700?
It also has 2 face plates for the regular DNA & the 75c.
This is a really nice looking mod! I would be way more than happy to have a dual 21700 version :)
Do the 21700 tubes exist?

Not that I know of. I was thinking because of the 18650 tube, there is probably enough room there for a bigger battery with out the tube.
It would take some redesign to make it work. Still mite be easier than making a whole new mod?

How thick are normal 18650 tubes?
