I am going to wait it out. I want a 133/167 and I really dont want an Alpine/Hanna box, I will wait for something with a little more character, thats why I am eyeballing 3d. Its not like I am lacking for mods. Its a shame, if the ERM+ was about 3mm wider I could probably make one of those work.

As much as I hate Modcrate, they may become an option.

Nah, you don't want a modcrate, do a ERM++ run.

I to am planing a 21700 in my Hanna clones :)
Mine have DNA60's in them & it looks like there is a ton of room :)
I ordered 2 of these & am hoping I can fit them in, maybe with a little moding to the sled or box.

I don't have a cross slide vice for my drill press, I haven't bought one yet because the cheap ones are just way too loose to be any good and a good tight one is expensive. Besides, if I had a good one I'd have to either buy a better drill press or mod mine to take the slop out of the arbor/chuck. But I have done a little crud milling by rigging a straight edge fixed to the table to the correct setting then sliding/feeding the piece by hand. Doesn't make pretty cuts, has to be soft metal and the cuts have to be lite but it has got me where I needed to go in the past so I'll try to take a little off the inside, I'll only need to mill about half the depth which will make it easier. Wish I had a buddy with a mill....

Another idea Steamer, looks like the 21700 will easily fit inside the battery half of the hotcig dx, swapping the 75 with the 200 is easy, I've already done that but it was a neutral net gain so I put the 200 back in and the 75 went in the hanna clone. Hmm..... Mess with milling the hanna or swap boards again.... would have to make a sled of some sort for the dx.... Here's old pics I took when I showed how to take a dx battery pack apart.

So just a few minutes before I read this post ( Evolv-ing Thread ) I had broken out my DX200 for a little use, can't even remember how long it's been.
It had more to do with the WOTOFO Serpent that was on it though.

I bought three of them along with spare battery packs back when they had that big sale, I use them more then those that I built simply because it's easy to swap out the battery when I need to. I use one for a charger and the other two for daily vaping the two flavors I use. They are bigger and heavier then I wanted but they just work and it's a two second battery swap.

For giggles I put a 75 in one and made a battery pack with three 900mah cells in parallel, worked fine but I didn't gain any extended battery life over the stock dx and I had to wait for it to charge so I put it back to a stock dx. But now that I have some 21700 cells I'm thinking of how to use them with a 75 or 60 board and which mod that I already have that I can do that with. Could build another mod using a hammond box, I have a couple extra but I don't feel like investing that much work right now. I'll probably mod the hanna clone box so the 21700 will fit, it already has the 75 in it.

On another note my merlin's finally showed today, won't be building them up today, I'm just too pooped. Has anyone opened the air flow? It's a tighter draw then I care for.
Guarantee Steamer has......

I like a tighter draw myself.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Willie, I pulled the "plug" on mine before I built it. It still does have a tighter draw than an Aromamizer but not that much tighter, at least to me. I don't know that I'd try drilling one out until I know exactly how it's assembled, too much can go wrong.

Plug? Oh yeah, look at that! I thought it held the positive post tight. Much better! I can live with that. I hadn't done anything other then take a quick look at the deck, make sure the air adjustment was wide open and take a draw. Thanks Steamer!
