It looks like the Kay-Fun v5 clones are starting to roll out :)
$24.00 SXK Kayfun V5 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5ml / 316 stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Kayfun V5 Style RTA 22mm 4ml Silver Rebuildable Tank Atomizer
I have all ways been a K-F fan :) Lately my vaping style has become different than what a traditional K-F usually offers. This new one is suppose to have way better Air flow ?
All thou I would like an Original IDK for sure I will like it enough, So I will opt for a clone instead.
3F has become my choice for Chinese orders as of late, for me to Canada they still offer E-Packet & my last order got here fast! Past experience has shown me that SXK/Infinite make a good product.

SXK's KM3 wasn't very good from those that have them. Tobeco seems to have nailed the KF4 and KM3. I'm waiting for the Tobeco version just because they offer black.

Just posted on FT, innokin Coolfire 4, is this mod using Evolv technology?
$46.95 Authentic Innokin Cool Fire IV 100W 3300mAh TC VW APV Mod - 150-315'C(300-600'F) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Innokin also has a 75 watt 18650 model out as well.

Pretty sure that's a no. I've been looking at the CF4 for my sister though.

To my knowledge, Innokin is now using a proprietary board that is NOT firmware upgradeable and has no USB input at tall. As usual for Innokin, a day late and a dollar short even thought they make a nice, reliable, mod.

Agreed, but there are a lot of mods out there that claim to be upgradeable, but I think most have never released an update. Nice selling point but...... Evolv certainly sets the bar, the rest try to follow.

Personally, the political climate being what it is, I am sticking with tried and true. I am standardizing on known dependable hardware, and stocking up on it, and spare parts to support it. I figure when the dust settles in a few months I can experiment with new hardware again, in the meantime I am only buying stuff that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt will satisfy me.

What the FDA didn't get, the EPA will

I had been hearing lots of activity about more regulations coming soon to neighborhoods near everyone.
Want to bet that the EPA will want to regulate how much NIC goes into juice? And make it near impossible to buy any NIC in a higher mg per ml.

I believe that with the EPA jumping in at this time that we will soon see NICOTINE, on the toxic chemical list to be regulated or banned. More info.

or just take your pick from here.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see huge discounts the closer we get to the date the regs go into effect. With retirement I don't have the income I use too, I'm setting some coin aside in hopes I can pick up some good deals in the near future. That said I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket, I've also been ordering some supplies now in case my theory doesn't pan out.

Here's another thought, hope I'm not turning folks off with gun talk but this situation closely mirrors what I've been through before. When I saw the restrictions on guns and ammo coming I started stockpiling reloading supplies, withing three to four years the prices sky rocketed and a lot of supplies just couldn't be found. Through word of mouth and forums I sold off about 30% of what I had and it paid in full all I had spent for my stash, and I still have enough to outlast me.

Just bought a medical grade 2.8 cu ft, -20º F capable, freezer with built in factory lock for less than 50% at a scratch & dent joint. Dont know what the scratches are yet, but for what I want to use it for, I dont care.

I went ahead and ordered one, was a bit reluctant as it looks big, but MAP persuaded me. It will give me something to post about...LOL

So when are you firing up the "Attack of the Kayfun V5 Clones" thread? :)

Wouldn't be the same if someone else started it.

The consensus was, Tobeco had the best V4 clone, But I had 3 different kinds of V4 clones & the build quality was a little better on the SXK, the threading in particular :)
That said all the different clones of the V4 I had worked well, you really had to split hairs to pic a "best"
I ordered an SJMY V5 clone. Release date ETA June 7/16 :)

Someone asked this in a PM and I thought I would respond here in case anyone else is interested.
Had a couple of questions for you about nicotine long term storage. Have you looked at the Armor line of packaging by Nude Nic? Glass bottle, argon purging, luer lock nic access system, and their latest idea of adding ascorbic acid. Just wanted to get your opinion on whether any or all these things might help with the long term storage of nic.

Yes, I think the V2 (luerlok) packaging helps. However, I dont think it even remotely justifies the premium in cost. If you buy glass boston rounds and fill them to just where the narrow neck starts, there is not not enough oxygen trapped in the bottle to do much, even if every bit of the trapped oxygen gets oxidized (unlikely). My habit is to use the smallest bottles that I consider reasonable. The biggest enemy is the introduction of MORE oxygen, not so much what is trapped in the bottle assuming the bottle is full. Plastic can allow more oxygen to enter, thats why we use glass. Opening the bottle is the biggest introduction of oxygen, which is the reason why the NN V2 helps, it prevents MORE oxygen from entering when you use some. If you use small bottles that dont require a lot reopening then you have no need for V2 packaging. "For me" the V2 packaging is certainly convenient, but I can get good nic and a bunch of empty bottles for half of NN's price.

This is a quote from Kurt, who holds a PhD in Chemistry:
If you feel better by purging the headspace air with N2 or Ar to rid it of O2, ok. However, I think it is a negligible effect. 3 mL of headspace air at 25% O2 will give enough O2 to at most react with about 5 mg of nicotine. And that is only if it all reacts.
...... In a liter of 100.00 mg/mL nic, 8 mg loss will make it 99.99 mg/mL. Within even pretty tight experimental error, that is essentially zero.

As for the V3, I honestly have no clue. I certainly believe it works in preventing oxidation, as theoretically the ascorbic acid will scavenge the available O2 before the nic reacts with it. It works well in food packaging, for example it will keep cut apples from turning brown. What I have zero clue about is vaping the stuff.

Kurt's blurb on it:
Nicotine Comparisons

I was running ERM+ #15 in 380°F temp. prot. mode @ 35W with a 0.14Ω dual Ti coil setup in my Aromamizer.

With the number of Evolv boards I've purchased, this has been the first one I need to RMA. :(
Sounds like the conditions I run all the time, except mine is about 100 degrees warmer. At least with Evolv you get a no hassle warranty.
