Idk if the screws will help, I mean I'll try them but this seems like a bigger problem, I thought it was the 316L but now I'm using 430, never had a problem with 430 before.

Does the exact same thing on my dna75 too.

Also if it helps, the grubs from the other deck (the one that comes w/ it) fit, but they're not long enough and fall through.

Willy, there the same set screw you sent me, just a bit longer.(2mm)
the threading & head are identical :)

Oh yeah, I forgot, yes those are the same screws, I got them from the link posted above. I knew they were a common size on a lot of atty's. :thumb:

Steamer posted they are the same screws so that link I posted is the right size, you could order a few longer ones too. Do you have an calipers to measure the length of one? If not, you could try a bigger auto parts supply like NAPA and see if they have calipers they use at the counter. If you want, PM me your address and I throw some in an envelope and mail them out in the morning. :) I have lots of rayon too. ;)

Sent, I tried cranking down the post a bit, tbh I think they cross threaded it bc when I got it, it was in wrong and the ± part was able to touch the body & was shorting... I may just have to order a new one... Either way I'll try ordering a few different sizes of grubs since apparently they are shipping w/ black ones now.

This thing's been a royal pita but it vapes so good when it's actually working, (like when I take a battery out to force it to reset) that I feel compelled to keep trying.

The good news is that since I switched to this dtl device, after about a year of using 9mg @ mtl (which was no longer doing it for me) I am already down to 3mg. Also I'm giving unflavored a try, love the flavors but imo they're probably the worst part of vaping. Stuff like FW (yellow cake is one of my favorites, but so bad I use it very sparingly) has actual sugar and corn syrup in it.

Oh no, do you know Albert? Then I noticed it's 3 Canadians, who let us in? Whitby here. @TrollDragon where in NS? I've been known to visit Timberlea too often.
How's it goin' eh? :D

I don't know Albert personally just a friend on FB. I have 2 B2K's, his Refill/Stand Gorilla bottle topper and one of his silicone squonk bottles. Patiently waiting for the B2K (V4) to drop so I can have more TRVP in my life because #B2KAllDay.

Windsor NS here and I've been to Timberlea a few times. ;) I grew up in Toronto and went with a girl from Oshawa for a few years, many fond memories of the Go Train to Pickering and "Bus connections for Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa" over the loud speaker.

I like to squank but only TC squanking, always hated mechanical squanking... I still did it though back in the day when there wasn't much of a choice but I used disposable atties... My only squanker rn though is all messed up, took it apart to re-solder a wire and now it leaks like crazy. Been looking at some of the 75c ones though and they're pretty cheap now (<$100). I use an old hadaly or the new hadaly, entheon or w/e. & also since making claptons went from being kind of ok to just irritating... Used to use a 26g or 2x 28g 430 w/ some nife claptoned around it, probably the best TC experience I've had with a clapton though.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Kiba, I was going to suggest checking the center screw on that thing. I finally gave up on Foggers because the center screw would corrode, it's copper, and the resistance would wander all over the place. Easy fix, just loosen and re-tighten, but a PITA when out and about.

We visited NS a while back, in the 80's. The Digby area. We took a ferry cruise from Portland that had gambling on board when gambling was hard to find. Rigged games, every one of them. When I finally started getting ahead, they shut down the table. Didn't bother gambling on the way back. NS was nice, we spent a few days at a fancy hotel and did some touring during the day. I still remember the tides at the harbor in Digby, totally amazing! If it didn't get so darn cold in the winter, it'd be great!

Tibs, I agree!

It's really to bad your having all theses issues :( I got 3 of the single coil decks for the Supreme's, all have the good grub screws, all work excellent! IMO the best Steam Crave Deck to date :)
It's only $8 maybe just order a new one?

Troll, Albert's a trip. I bought my 2nd DNA from him, made the deal at 2am online and picked it up at noon the following day. Tiniest store ever, maybe 3 people can be in there at the same time. I just can't appreciate all his branding. Luckily I hear many are just removable stickers, except the etching on his RSA. Friended me as well, almost immediately. We always pass through Windsor on our way to South Mountain. Oh, it's still the Dirty 'shwa.

Awsum - Those Fundy tides are amazing in Digby. When it goes out, the boats were like 40 feet below the pier.

Yeah, it was really something. Show up at the dock at low tide and have to climb down an EXTENSION ladder to get on deck. At high tide, step up over the gunwales. If they want to paint the bottom, or do a little maintenance, they run up onto a beach at high tide, block the hull as the tide goes out, paint or do whatever, and wait for the tide to comeback in. It has to be seen to be believed.

Yeah that's what I did, I think it may of been cross threaded when I got it.

Yeah I already did, only problem is it takes forever to get here in a canoe from China... That's the fast shipping option, the slow one is where they just throw your package in the ocean and hope for the best... I've had a bunch of stuff get sent back and go missing lately, this one made it through but I ordered it in early December. Epackets.

Not me, I even gave up ordering stuff from there for a while after going through this 10+ page thread about it it over on ft (epackets), + two things got seized (2 atties, serpent SMM, tried ordering it again when it was discounted, gave up on that & then for whatever reason my aromamizer made it through) but I think things have been start moving again bc ppl have started to be able to get their stuff in the normal <2 weeks.

+ and fire licks ohms correct?

For whatever reason it started working again after a day in wattage mode. For now anyway... till I like, knock it over or look at it wrong or something.... Tried it on the 430 profile and it's firing at 35 (.6Ω clapton) watts as opposed to 3, yesterday. Couldn't deal with that so I was using a preheated kanthal profile.

Why are pictures not showing up in Tapatalk anymore?

Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Your pic is showing for me.

To lock ohms, first press fire button five times to lock then hold the fire and up buttons down, you'll see the screen change and show ohms locked.
