    That's like 3 strong espresso's. Great job barrista's.
Incidentally, Steamer, the SS430 I'm using came from unkamen, 28 gauge.
That's where I got mine. Found it bang on with TCR of .00138

I use both Temco and Unkamen Ti. Both are spot on.
    Same here.

I spin the Ti in the drill & it becomes easer to work with.
That's what I do also. Followed by the gospel in the TensionedMC thread, turn the tool not the wire.

    Sitting down, facing forward.
It's funny you guys are spinning Ti in a drill to be able to wrap it. Back in my home brew, ham radio, days I'd take a piece of 12 gauge copper house wire, stripped from scrap romex, and spin it in a drill to harden it and make it springy so it could be used for a VHF or UHF mobile antenna.

I'm going to try the claptons one more time, in an Aromamizer this time. I will pulse them before wicking, but that's as far as I'm going with "tweaking" things. Any more than that just isn't worth th effort for me unless pulsing them works and produces nirvana.

    "Replay" works.
Running a TI clapton in wattage mode and getting the same hit every time. Even when it starts gunking.
Is that really a good thing? One of the reasons I reverted to mechs is that using them prevents me from compensating for a gunked coil or a less-than-optimal wick.

If you've told your dna what kind of wire you're using (and I understand you don't have to do that), can it track wire temperature in Replay mode? If so, what happens to the wire temp as the coil gets gunked up?

Also What would be the reason for Ti? If the wire choice is moot, why not the safest wire? Maybe SS?
I know for sure, when my coils get "Gunked" the resistance changes, so would the temp?
This new "Replay" seems to put TC on the back burner :(
90% of DNA users don't use TC all the time! Are we seeing Evolv going in a new direction?
I cant blame them, the market all ways steers your business, you need to be making what the people are Buying/ Using :)

Also What would be the reason for Ti?
I think Mike just likes Ti. I can't say I blame him. It was my material of choice too during the year or so that I used TC. Now I'll admit this was back in the DNA40 days, when nickel and titanium were the only options. Ti was "unsupported" but it did work, while stainless didn't. FWIW, I don't think there's anything "unsafe" about Ti.

I will say thou, if you over heat it, Ti does make a white residue!
Definitely. I documented that (it's in my one and only blog entry) when some Greeks were pushing Ti wire before TC even existed. But I don't think that's a problem, even in wattage mode, as long as the wick and coil is kept plenty wet; it simply won't get hot enough to form those oxides.

I'm counting on that :) I'v been using Ti for years now, all ways carefully & in TC :)

I have to say, it's very nice of Evolv to make the new feature "Replay" available for free upgrade on the 75c :)
