Here's one for me to make sure that I remember. My friend bought some of those Ebay Hana DIY boxes and put in a 250D board. An hour ago on my way to work I stopped by his taco shop and he shows me the mod but says it has a problem. It isn't charging. Hook it up to Escribe and cells 1 & 2 are at 4.18v and #3 is 4.02 v. No imbalance message and mod works good. So after some thought after arriving t work I figured it out, he is using my settings file and it's set to charge only to 4.1v not 4.2.......DUH.......it took me longer to get it than it should have.

I think it's the inconsistency with the "rules" that's bothersome more than anything else.

Kiba, my big trick for taking outlet/switch plates off after a paint job is to unscrew/remove the screws then give the plate a solid tap with the rubber handle of a screwdriver. They, generally pop right off, even if the paint was fully, completely, utterly, dry when they got put back on. Works pretty well for me, anyway.

I so wish I knew that earlier lol.. I have a note file where I put stuff like this from you guys so I don't forget... this one is def.going in there. btw my breaker box was painted shut, I had to cut it open to get at the dryer one & kind of made a mess of things, what's the best Wai to deal w/ that? Repaint or try to maybe sand the paint off, the paint on there now affects the latch & hinges. Like it's hard to open/close

Ah the forum owner's dilemma! So, my FWIW is that I really don't mind what people talk about with regards to drugs etc. And cuss words. Don't give a .....

The reason for censorship on ECF was about being a public face for vaping, at a time when we really were that (and being mindful that there were forces trying to discredit the community).

Our community still has enormous visibility, so to some extent this still applies.

But, at the end of the day, it's really about what the membership wants. So, if it's true that relaxing the naughty word censorship and figuring out a way so that people can have conversations about topics interesting to them (but perhaps not to the wider membership), then perhaps worth doing.

BUT

How do we find out? Polls don't work, and people often don't tell you how they feel.

Let's have a conversation about it.

Tbh the only problem I have is that I can't discuss "other" types of technology used for vaping whether it's dry herb/wax/tobacco, w/e. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on this forum & I think that in particular does everyone a disservice. Like I said a lot of our technology comes from that side & will continue to bc it's a highly profitable industry (much more profitable than this one) if you don't believe me, look up where TC came from. The tech is evolving at such a rapid pace really that if we try to separate ourselves from it rather than incorporate it, imo we'll only be left in the dust, tbh they're already way ahead of e-juice vaping in terms of tech. The whole thing about cannabis not being legal everywhere has always seemed to me like a weak argument bc as stated, vaping is illegal in many countries as well & soon with the way things are going cannabis will probably be legal on more places than vaping.

Its not like I want to discuss my favorite hybrid strain or which doctor I go to... I just think that we should be able to discuss the tech. But I've been & seen others slapped on the wrist for asking questions just about the technology (for example trying to troubleshoot getting a dry material atomizer to work w/ TC on a dna board). Seriously though if you're interested in vaping tech, I challenge you to look at some. Of the latest stuff that's been coming out for cannabis & not find it interesting.

i personally think a plant should not be classified as a drug but i have no problem admitting others might feel differently ;)

My opinion is that once it's been concentrated into something else, it becomes a drug, but I also have a hard time classifying it as such in its form which grows naturally from the dirt. Ofc everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Kiba, what I'd do with that breaker box cover is remove it, anything from one to six screws depending on the size, then use a paint remover designed for latex paints on it in a sink. Actually, any strong cleaner, like Spray Nine or Fantastic, would probably work as well. The cover is painted with baked enamel from the factory which should have a good bond and keep the latex based paint from adhering very well. Doing it in a sink, or outside in a bucket, will minimize the mess but rubber gloves might be a good idea. If you use a bucket you can let it soak for a while which should make it easier. Use a scrub brush to get the paint off once it's softened, rinse, dry and put it back on. If you want it all to match, use some spray paint before putting it back on. Just don't go fishing around inside the breaker panel!

Or, depending on the model # of your breaker panel, you could just get a new cover for $50. Depends on how much you value the time (and materials) it will take to make your existing one look right.
GE AF31S Panel Lid, New In Box General Electric Breaker Box Cover | eBay

Goo-Gone works wonders on removing old dried latex BTW. Especially drips on old wood floors etc.

Are they all generic? Mine seems a bit smaller than that one.

Ah that's what I was afraid you'd say :(

There should be a sticker on the inside of it usually on the side with manufacturer and model number. If not I can probaby identify it with pics of both the cover and the insides.

I am of course assuming the original sticker inside the door cover is long gone.

I'll take a pic of it when I get home, the condo is only 18yrs old so it's probably still there, the original inspection sticker is still there from when the place was built etc.

Edit, actually there might be one of it in my google photos cloud, lemme check.

Here's the best I could find... Notice the awful paint, the previous guy was El Salvadorian, not that I'm saying anything against latinos I actually speak Spanish & have dated plenty (actually my current gf is the only white girl I've ever dated) but the crazy colors that they love is def. not my thing. reminded me of my previous (the crazy one) ex who was puerto rican, her mom's house was painted that way, every wall a different color and really bad colors, like pea green, pepto bismol pink or bright orange. & she wanted to paint our apartment like that, like the fact that the walls were just white plainly bothered her, probably the only thing I ever got my way over in that relationship though & I had to get the super to discourage her.

Those colors always make me feel a mixture of nervous & headache. It was funny bc when her mom moved into a different place, it had a really nice grey or toupe paint on every wall, (which is my personal preference) & she was in a hurry to paint that bc was unacceptable, so she enlisted basically her entire extended family to help & they all did, never seen anything like it... though some of the walls the kids did ended up looking like crap. I remember that had to be done before they could start moving, much like my gf *had* to paint all our walls grey before we could move in... But she was right, I literally felt like I heard clown car music whenever I was in there before we painted the walls vs now with the grey I feel calm when I come home. I find it kind of weird how colors can have that effect on you. It makes sense though bc the crazy paint scheme actually did bring the value of the place down by 10k & he had to make up for it in settlement.

Anyways here it is I don't get home today till like 4am so I'm kind of in zombie/autopilot mode now but hopefully I'll remember to get a better pic then.
