At the risk of carrying it on to much, I used the herb mentioned for a long time when I was younger. While I agree it is not physically addicting, at least for some of us it is very psychologically addicting. If not for the horrible anxiety attacks I eventually got with use I am sure I would still be using. I am not advocating for adult restriction of any substance but just giving some real life experiance.

Edit: perhaps the psychological effect is a manifestation of physical brain chemistry change as some say so I should have said no physical withdrawal.

My grandfather was an alcoholic. He only got worse and worse. When he drank, he would also get very verbally mean. But he was a very nice man when he didn't drink. About the only time he didn't, was when he was in the hospital for a few days. He normally drank from morning to night. And I believe he would drink both beer and whiskey. He had whiskey bottles hidden all throughout his house.

It cost him his job and he lost his nice pension which it would have collected in a year or two. He lived until his early 70's and then his liver failed. But the doctor said most of organs were also failing. And about half of the family fears alcohol. I think they believe we all inherited the alcoholic gene. Some I don't think they ever had a single drink in their life.

Then there are some who drinks everyday. The two I am thinking of only drinks in the afternoon. One drinks a glass or two of vodka and the other probably drinks about a six pack of beer a day. Neither one you couldn't even tell that they ever had a drink in their life. It's weird that the same drug, acts totally different from individual to individual.

I was going to mention about Eciggity has both Geek Vape Flask ($18.99) and Geek Vape Flask v2 ($9.99). Use code MEM15 for 15% off (good until the 28th I believe). If anybody is still interested, before I lost power for over 6 hours.

I got my two Geek vape Flask v2 today. If you were still thinking on picking these newer versions up, you might want to reconsider. As the main body is plastic (silicone bottle inside). The dripper/tank refilling tip looks like it is SS. But the other 510 fitting seems like its plastic. I dunno, as I don't think plastic 510 threads will have a long life. As I would think plastic threads would wear out really fast. But I guess time will tell. But the plastic is really hard, so maybe it will do fine.

I tested it with a tank of water & it'll dump the whole thing in 30 seconds. But I'm positive that my o-rings are all still good. Anyone had that kind of issue before?

You have air leaking in at the top of the atty or a cracked tank.

Man how did I miss the water test part? Yes cigatron is indeed correct!

Hi all, I just picked up a pick squeeze off eBay with a wasp for $15 as a beater mod. Pretty nice little set up, but was wondering what the trick is to getting the bottle out. Seems a bit of a pain. Time to hear from rose on the dark side.
Thanks in advance.

OMG!

"In December 2004, a 67-year-old man in Plovdiv, Bulgaria was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries he suffered following a car accident. The man appeared to be fine and communicated coherently with doctors, yet his BAC was recorded at 0.914%. Assuming the testing equipment was malfunctioning, doctors performed five separate lab tests to confirm the man’s BAC level."

What is the Highest Recorded %BAC?

Yes alcohol can kill, no doubt about it. So can nicotine. So can water for that matter. And my aunt is super allergic to peanuts. Just smelling peanuts will swell her throat closed. I on the other hand, can eat peanuts all day long and I don't suffer any ill effects.

And I find prescription drugs can also be very bad. I could write a 500 page book about the horrors of some prescription drugs. My mother was taking Actos for example. Her doctor was supposed to take routine blood tests to see if Actos was harming her kidneys. He never bothered and her kidneys failed and she had to go on dialysis for the last 8 years of her life.

Also I am a type 2 diabetic. And I adjust my insulin based on my blood sugar and what I am going to eat or drink. Like this morning my blood sugar was 106mg/dL. Nothing wrong with this reading. And while I may not even eat today, I do that a lot for some reason all of my life. But even so, I still had taken 30cc of slow acting insulin which should hold me at about 100 for the next 24 hours. I'll take some fast acting insulin. That insulin only last a few hours and that is it. So most days, I am taking like 35 to 55cc of insulin per day. My dad when he was alive, he had taken over 200cc of insulin a day. I for example, if I had taken over 200cc per day, it's a no brainier. As I know I would quickly go into a coma.
That's about 40 higher than my blood sugar ever is, I've been trying to figure out what's going on for a couple of years now but it seems like my body pumps out too much insulin, eating sugar makes it go into overdrive.
So basically you advocate treating everyone like a child; you want them to seek permission from some "authority" like doctor rather than letting them decide for themselves what they wish to purchase and consume.

I'm not sure how to tell you what I think of this without coming across as rude. :p
If they act like a child, treat them like one  I know a lot of recovering addicts/alcoholics who share the same pov bc people don't think rationally when they are in the midst of an addiction, killing themselves is one thing but killing someone else is quite another, treating people in an addiction like adults is imo not appropriate.

seriously though if it saves innocent lives I can live with the minor annoyance of going through an extra step for our addictive substances. Maybe not a doctor but at least something better than, for example selling more liquor to someone waiting outside of the liquor store when it opens, stinking of booze & about to get into a car.
Are you sure it is really leaking? If it is, the whole tank will eventually empty out. But I noticed is what people normally call leaking isn't really a leak at all. What it is most of the time is just condensation. As vapor pools up on the bottom and turns back into juice again. And it is almost a sure thing for me and if I vape 4ml of juice, I'll have something less than 0.5ml of juice coming out if tilted.

Yet these same tanks, even if I let them sit for over 2 years up on the shelf, won't leak a single drop in all of that time. I know, I've done it before. And I don't recommend trying to vape anything that has been sitting in the tank for two years. As the results are almost always not good.
Yeah it's definitely flooding, as stated there may be a small crack in the tank that I can't see but I'll have to take it apart once it's dry.
I am a recovering alcoholic, this April was 30 years since my last drink or recreational drug. (alcohol IS a drug)

Addiction, and conquering it, is still not well understood by society at large. "Legality" has very little to do with it.

@awsum140 was definitely right about it being a matter of "personal" responsibility. Legal or not, people will do what they want to do. If nic was made illegal tomorrow, how many of us would stop using it?

"Cause no harm" , particularly not to "others", then live life as you see fit.............
My whole dad's side of the family dealt with some type of addiction or another at some point, & we lost my aunt to it. Bc of that I grew up with an alcoholic father, he eventually got sober when I was about 16 & I'm really proud of him but it really forced me to understand the insanity that goes along with addiction at a young age.

I knew this lady who's blood sugar ran at 50 all of the time and that was perfectly normal for her. And she was one of those people who seemed to never run out of energy. And she looks just like Sally Fields to boot.

I noticed with me, three days before I get a cold, flu, or infection, my blood sugar will jump up to like 150. And the amount of insulin I am taking should be at 100. Even double the insulin won't budge it down. But almost three times the insulin will slowly pull it back down. And three days of this, I'll finally get a cold or something. It's kind of nice getting a warning that something is going to happen. As I could pop vitamin C tablets or something beforehand and hopefully stop it before it begins. :)

Yeah I'm like her until I crash, my bs is usually around that, a lot of people in my family have type one diabetes, I was thinking it was that for a while but after now knowing what I know it's not possible.... I have a super high metabolism & often feel dizzy when I stand up, the tests I've had show too much insulin & I can't eat sugar bc i crash super hard & it makes me feel like crap after. So far it's not diabetes or thyroid & that seems to be the only 2 option that endocrinologists will do diagnostic for, after that they seem to be not able to do their job & figure out what it is, I've been to 6 [emoji58] still looking for maybe an old school one who knows how to do diagnostics. Rn I'm doing OK but it seriously affects my energy about halfway through the day & I have to be careful what I eat bc if I eat too much carbs or something I'll have energy for 30 mins or so & then straight up pass out.

What's the problem with router's? DNS poisoning?

There's apparently a 3 stage russian spyware/malware going around... I didn't have anything on mine but I don't have the stock nighthawk firmware since I use dumaOS. So far I'm the only one I know who's reset my router, but I'm going over to my dad's tomorrow to do his.

F.B.I.’s Urgent Request: Reboot Your Router to Stop Russia-Linked Malware

the news places have been saying "reboot" but keep in mind you need to completely wipe the thing or risk it re-downloading.

The weird thing is I work in the field & haven't heard much about it... That could mean anything though.

This is the router I have, yeah it's kind of old, like me, but somehow manages to still get the job done, like me...
https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-N300-Wireless-N-Router/dp/B00SWKM4M2
I don't see any way to load any software onto it, factory firmware is up to date, is there a way to load other then factory firmware to it? Is that necessary? Or do I need to buy a new one? Hate to spend the money for something that still seems to work fine.

How does just shutting down and restarting the router fix anything?

What the FBI doesn’t yet know is how VPNFilter is getting on people’s systems.

There are several actions those with home routers can do to stop it. Turning the router on and off temporarily disrupts the malware and erases parts of it, though the router can be reinfected.

The best protection is to make sure the router’s software has been updated and a strong password has been set. Many routers come with default passwords such as “password” or “1234,” which the owners never reset, making them vulnerable to hacking.

For the more technically inclined, Talos suggested owners might disable remote management settings on their routers.
