You're most welcome ... after all I've learned from you and your threads it was nice to help you out.

Now taking double-insertion to a new level could include gathering your rayon from a different source ...

I've been using KU for nearly a year with excellent results, but not pads ^^^^^, tampons.....

Sally's isn't easy to get here.....but this I can pick up at the supermarket.

The trick is learning how to prepare it effectively, but with practice you can get a descend amount from each. It does start out a bit crinckely, and needs some "massaging". Jeremy helps with this too!

KU is 100% tencel which is a high grade rayon, and there can be no doubt about it's sterility.

But the best part is being able to brag about "double inserting" them!

@dwcraig1 when you receive your Orion .25 pods, let me know if they leak and the wicking situation. I know you didn't have a problem running thin juice through them but you know me, I like to use juice that i would normally use in full size device (high VG). For the past month, my Orion has been laying on it's side on one of my dressers collecting dust. I still have 2 of the chinese cotton testing pods, unused, but i'm not going to even bother with them. I threw all of the previous revision pods away. I would like to start it using again.
A rebuildable pod from LV would do me great......

Now you tell us AtmizrOpin... hours after I just ordered a third Orion this morning. :( I'm betting on the Orion since I heard from so many others who are experienced vapers and also has lots of experience with many pods say that the Orion is the best pod to date. And that is exactly what I am looking for. :)

Worse comes to worse, hey it is going to be a sentimental piece of vaping history. And I would want one (or some) for that reason alone. I started too late in vaping to get a Darwin as they were already long gone. But I still would like to have one today. :)

My rayon came today and I guess next time I rebuild I'll give it a try. Meantime I'll read up and try to figure out this double penetration method. WAIT! :?: That didn't sound right! Oh, I mean double-insertion method. :)

My Orion pods comes tomorrow and two and maybe three Orions comes next Monday. :)

@BillW50 Don't stress it. Everything i've been hearing about the latest pods LV released, have been good. Apparently LV is pre-priming the cotton with unflavored VG to prevent what i experienced from all of the previous versions, poor wicking for DL with high VG liquids.
I might of been asking the pod system to do something it wasn't designed to do. I would take 8 sec pulls, sometimes 2 or 3 in a row, expecting a good vape each time. I could get that IF i left the fill cap off. However the pod would flood if left alone for awhile (5 min). I just got frustrated with it. I chalked it up to "pod mods aren't for me."
I would like to hear your thoughts, Bill, on what you think of the pods when you receive your device. My guess is you'll be happy with it.

No worries AtmizrOpin. I may bark sometimes, but I don't bite. And it sounds like we like to vape the same way. :) That is one thing I haven't found in a pod yet that you can chain vape high VG. There is one that does work well to at least 70VG in my tests, temperature stays consistent, etc. But it uses ceramic coils. I've been meaning to run some tests to see if ceramic dust travels with vapor or not. I guess I should move that up on my todo list. :)

Got my Orion pods about 3 hours ago. And I really did get 22 pods for $3.15 each. :) Since I wasn't sure on the Orion if I liked the 0.25Ω or the 0.50Ω better, I ordered some of each. And :censored: none of the boxes are marked. So I had to open up each box to learn which one was in there and then mark the box myself.

Looking at them, I think I can jury rig one up to a 510. Hmm... do I spend a few hours today manufacturing a 510 to pod adapter, or wait till Monday when the Orions arrive?

@BillW50 haha we think along the same lines........

I wasn't crazy about the pods BUT I knew I liked the board. An old VS rDNA 510, some wiring, lil solder here, lil solder there, some superglue and 30 min later..... the "Oh Ryan 2 in 1" was born:confused::lol:

No Apology, VA Meteorology
1 hr ·
There are still model discrepancies in regards to the exact track, intensity, and effects from Hurricane Florence but they can now be put in two main camps. It’s not looking good.

Camp 1: The GFS model shows Florence landfalling in the Outer Banks as a major hurricane on Friday before slowly tracking up into southeastern VA and eventually turning out to sea. This scenario would lead to major coastal flooding in the tidewater, significant rain across far eastern portions of Virginia, and gale to possibly storm force winds over Hampton Roads and the Chesapeake Bay. Western parts of Virginia would be spared from severe impact.

Camp 2: The European model has consistently showed Florence making
landfall over southeastern North Carolina (somewhere in the Wilmington to Morehead City vicinity) as a major hurricane on Thursday and then gradually bringing the tropical system northward into northern North Carolina and south-central Virginia by Friday night before stalling it somewhere near the Virginia and North Carolina border. Impacts would extend well away from the center. This solution would dump several inches of rain, if not a few feet, across much of the state. Saturated grounds and gusty winds (widespread tropical storm force gusts) would lead to trees being toppled over. A strong northeast to easterly wind (although likely not as strong there as if a camp 1 solution verified) would still lead to coastal flooding along the tidewater. This would essentially be an Isabel type storm with a lot more rain.

Summary: I think both scenarios are very much on the table but I’m leaning towards camp 2 as the Euro seems pretty locked in and the GFS has started slowly trending that way over the past several runs. While strong winds are a concern, I’m most worried about the heavy rains. Due to the slowing down or even stalling of Florence in our vicinity, there is potential for devastating flooding here in Virginia. I would start making storm preparations. Timing in Virginia looks to be late Thursday through the weekend.
