Looks like my ERM 250 bit the dust.

After 5 years I still vape my 36mg, and unabashedly so. I too quit tobacco several times over the years, the latest and longest being 2 years, then my wife died which is when I took up inhaling cigars. With vaping, I dont care if I ever quit vaping. It satisfies the nico-demon, and doesnt kill me anywhere nearly as quickly as tobacco did.

Funny, my two Evolv issued beta ERM200s are rapidly giving up the ghost. I am debating on just swapping out the bat or upgrading them to 250s for the 2A charger.

Got 2 and half years out those ERM200 bats so I guess I cant complain.
In 2 days this board will be 2 years old, I wish it was the battery at fault as I have one extra. The battery is slightly over 2 years old with no puff or uneven cells. I suppose I'll just buy one, maybe Evolv would replace it but 2 years no shame.

Well I talk about going to start DIY juice, but I never made the move. Well until today. I ordered a 250ml bottle of unflavored 50/50 juice from MFS (I rarely hear of anybody buying DIY supplies from there, I wonder why?). The lowest nic they offer is 24mg. Okay fine, I can vape 24mg without problems.

Anyway I cleaned out a tank, gave it a fresh coil and wick and added 1ml of unflavored into the tank. There is a flavor there that I can't place and I know I have tasted it before. The only thing I can think of it must be the taste of nicotine. I don't know, I had taken a few puffs and sat it down. Now I feel like I chained vaped for 10 minutes straight? So does nicotine without flavoring hit harder? Hopefully they didn't goof and gave me 100mg instead. At least the bottle says 24mg.

Not sure about the hitting harder thing, but some nic has a slight black pepper flavor to it that I actually find appealing.

I guess that was your only DX200 dwcraig1? I bought 4 of them and 14 batteries. One did fail on me like yours did back around March. Someday I might buy a DNA200 board and put it in there. I still think swapping batteries too fast blows those battery management ICs. Sure it only takes them out only like 1 out of 100 times. So since I've not swapped batteries any faster than giving it 1 minute to drain the caps first, not a single DNA has gone yet. I wished that I didn't have to blow 4 DNAs first to figure this out. :(

DNA200s are no longer offered by Evolv, but they can be found on the after-market.

Yeah I didn't think it was peppery tasting. But I just taken a couple of puffs and yeah... that is probably it. Thanks Mike. :)

EDIT: And dw. :)

I should already know this from where I hang out but it sure would be nice if LV has done the thermals and such on this Drone that's arriving. I'm not interested in creating or even uploading themes so I hope what ever is on it is good enough.

What strength do you normally vape?

Well 18mg MTL normally. I do vape 18mg DTL too, but I get too much nic that way and now more often vape DTL 3 to 6mg. Although the last few months I've been ordering all of my MTL juices at 24mg.

DIY'ing juice is kinda like cooking :)
You need to assemble you ingredients & then with a recipe you can mix up a juice :)
I use an online calculator :) E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors with PG/VG Adjusting

I use 100mg nic VG, PG & flavouring's. Taste is subjective so what ever flavourings/ recipes you like, will be up to you
The internet is full of juice recipes, look around & find some you think you mite like.
DIY'ing is the most cost effective way to vape, just takes some trial & error to make good juice :)
