Well it's their fault and they should fix it. They can't call a Drone 250 as a Drone 250C, that's false advertising. :(
I told them I want a price adjustment or return it, their choice. I have Zero problem with it being a 250 other than the price.
The atty is nice, I put it away without building it till I have something to put it on.
Oh, I connected it to EScribe to see if maybe it was used and returned, no it had zero puffs.
I didn't check to see if it worked with batteries or not.

I was able to locate their phone number, still another 15 min to their day. Closed on Saturday and Sunday, not really wanting to wait till Monday for their reply.
Got no answer on the phone, left a message.
The mod wasn't in a plastic bag so it's rattling around in it's box caused some blemishes on the battery door and body. Some car wax took care of it, I needed to know that otherwise I would just want to return it.

For you squonkers out there here are a couple of bottle tricks that may come in handy.

If your bottle hose is loose on the 510 nipple twist a piece of 30g kanthal around the hose while it is on the nipple. Clip off the excess.

To get almost every drop of juice out of your squonk bottles insert the positive pin from a protank coil head.

I just can't seem to leave this alone....till Monday.
What bothers me is the fact that the LV 250C Drones haven't been released to the market as yet, not even to reviewers, so where did ElementVapes come up with the price?

The going rate from a US vender is around $150 but none are in stock.

Although there are no photos to be found of the 250c Drone it will look very much like the Triade.

I don't care much for the 510 on the 250.
When I get home I shall put in some batteries and make sure that it appears to work (without atty).
Now I shall wait.

Yes, but that's not just DX200's, all the DNA boards will.

Yup, my DX's spark like that but it happens with all 200's when I connect a lipo. I've seen it happen when soldering the wires directly to the board or connecting with the XT connectors, it can be harder to see with the XT connectors by the way they are designed but I have seen it.

Something doesn't smell right, if it was "me" I'd want to return it and start over, go with a company you can trust, not sure I'd feel comfortable trusting they would stand behind it if you have an issue with the mod after a short time. If I didn't get a timely and satisfactory response on Monday I'd be ready to cancel the payment, if you used a card. Most card company's will open a case file, put the payment "on hold" and notify the seller it may withdraw payment if the issue isn't resolved forcing them to make you whole one way or another and with the card company being the mediator. If a card company gets enough complaints, sees a pattern, they can pull the right to use their cards as payments, the seller won't want that. If you paid with a debit card contact your bank and see if they will help you, I bet most will.

I dunno, but I think I might guess why. I don't know where they found that Drone 250 at (was there more than one?), as supplies has been gone for more like 10 months now. Maybe someone found one or more in Element's stockroom. And I don't know about you, but I am sure there are lots of people would gladly pay 300 bucks for one if they could find one. And Element was probably taking advantage of this.

If that wasn't the reason for the pricing and that was meant to be the pricing for the 250C instead. Well I've seen this on eBay and other online shops. They either price something they don't have yet either really high or really low. And sometimes what the real expected pricing will be once they get them in.

Someone finding a Drone 250 are so rare, that you can't even find a used one anywhere. Nobody seems to want to give theirs up. And I bet if you listed it on eBay as an opened box Drone 250, one could get upwards of a grand easy for it. And I might be one of the bidders. :)

Interesting. All of my DNAs are 18650 powered except for my DX200 mods. I really don't like internal lipo mods and if I have a choice, I'll skip them. I don't have nothing against lipos, I just like ejecting the battery if something bad happens and the ease of external charging. But oddly, I never seen the spark with 18650 powered DNAs.

They sell on E bay, I ran across it when I was searching for their "un-listed" phone number.

I'm trying to like my new atty, Kryten, but it's a bit too much for me with 12 mg nic.
Getting coils in it is not the easiest but next ones will be better. It's on Anita, and what a deal that is to navigate the settings.
