That is kind of neat, heck if I was a little younger and a little sharper, I'd try it. I've been thinking about making one of my own so if the something gave up the ghost, I could fix it.

Then I "moved up" to these $13.70 shipped, I'm livin the ritz

One of the easiest mods I've built, just solder the 510 Pos wire and battery leads, drop in the board, a few screws and one C clip that holds the guts of the 510 and done. Might have to file or sand a little around the button holes on the inside if there are burr's that make the buttons sticky and check for loose metal chips around where the 510 screws in on the inside but that's it. Solid little mods, I have a bunch of them now, I moved all the boards I had in the Hammond boxes into these kits. Bought a few extra's just for spares, the price is worth just the lipo that comes with them. Look back at my prior posts in this thread and you'll find a couple posts with tips with pics on building these.

Back in the day, I was something of a Protovapor fan:

They had really excellent switchgear, and the I really liked the pocket clips too.

Is there a Confession, You need to make? Little closet K-F love going on maybe? :D

It's a nice color, I have one of them, but know the shades between the two halves can be a little off on most of those kits. Not a deal breaker for me but might be for some.

I only got the raw & dark blue, mine are all pristine :)
The dark blue is a real nice colour :) It's a perfect match with the Amit 25 & SMM in Blue :)

This kit couldn't be easier, on mine the 510 was already installed in the case so I soldered it's wire on while installed. If you fudge up the board Evolv will take care of you on replacing it. Perfect project for a first time builder after you practice soldering a little on other stuff if that is needed.
(It's already soldered to the 510 pin)

I did some chicken wings in the oven with Shake and Bake, way better than deep frying, might skip the Shake and Bake and do my own coating next time though. Nice and juicy and tender.

Never thought about doing wings that way, now I got to try it, sounds good, thanks! I like shake and bake, the wife doesn't care for it but she'll buy the stuff now and then and let me have at it. One thing I do now is put the pieces on a wire mesh pie cooling rack that's about a half inch high so the grease drips off and the pieces don't soak in it. I know, the fat is where some of the flavor is but I'm getting to the age where I worry more about that stuff than I use too. I use to spoon some of the grease pan drippings onto my mash potato's, gave that up too. :(

Well, I did say, "Back in the day".. Perhaps I should have said, "In my pre-BF days"?

Here's another (really old) pic:

I had those before I got the mod in the middle, and somehow, it ended up being my favorite of these, despite its utter lack of tech.

Confession: I reverted to wearing mechanical watches more than a decade ago...

Where did you find a Drone 250C dwcraig1? I have been looking for them everyday for months. Don't tell me Element Vape found one again and are shipping you the same Drone 250 again?
Didn't find one but that's the one that I bought the batteries for.

Something went wrong with it? I still have all the bits......I might put a 60 in it!........hmmmm?

Sorry, it was Paranormal, but I located it under Therion on MYfreedomsmokes page.
Do you have any Paranormals at all? I have 2 250C Paranormals. Oddly enough some have removable panels and some doesn't. One of mine does and the other doesn't.

Wow! I moved fast towards electronic watches early on. I am now on a solar rechargeable electronic watch kick. I really couldn't live without a watch without alarms, timers, and a stopwatch anymore. :)

The watch I am wearing right now shows 50% charged. We hardly get any sunlight here in the fall (it's usually cloudy and raining a lot). And if it doesn't get a lot of light here in the next 2 months, it will probably power down. Although I sometimes cheat as I also have an USB powered 24 LED solar watch charger if needed. ;)
