XPV DNA-75C DIY Kit
XPV75C-3.jpg

This was posted By MC on FB about a week ago. It is a nice looking little mod!
It's $100 for the kit or $150 fully assembled, only runs an 18650, I really dislike the threaded battery Cap :(
There are a lot of options in this price range!

How many of those other options are from a US company?

Well, If you want to split hairs! You can get several 3D printed, from "Shapeways", a few all aluminum enclosures "American Made" In this price range or even cheeper! & I'm sure I could come up with several more if pressed to!

All "C" chips, all American Made & in the price range! Not a 1 with only an 18650 or that horrendous battery cap screw!

Saving $90 a pop, I can put up with a lot of ugly. ;)
During the end, you could get Wreker G2's for $25 from Vapor Cube. They still have Red and Tiffany Blue Slices in stock for $9.99, one wipe with the Circa 1850 rag and they become bare metal. ;)

I've just never been one that has to have the latest and greatest of anything, I've never owned a new car, I've had no desire for one and wouldn't waste the money even if I hit the lottery. I've always seen the value of waiting until prices come down then buying what I want. To me, it's gratifying knowing I waited and now I have it while I've saved a lot of money. Sometimes it will be used, sometimes new but an older model, to me it doesn't matter. I take care of what I have and I'll make repairs to keep things going rather then replace as long as I can. Example, my old John Deere 140 garden tractor was built mid 70's, I bought it used in the 80's. I've rebuilt the engine twice, both the mower deck and the snow blower I've striped down, cut out rusted sheet metal, welded in new and repainted them. I'll keep it going as long as I possibly can, I love that old tractor and see no reason to replace it. I know some of the neighbors think I should get a new one and they can't figure me out, I really, really don't care what they think. ;)
