The world is a odd place. I personally never had any luck with Evolv customer service myself (the opposite of everybody else). I requested a RMA back in June 2016 and I have been waiting ever since. In 2018 Nick (Evolv) read about my story somewhere and contacted me. He said he was going to take care of that one and three others that failed since then and he was going to send RMAs for all of them. And once again a couple of months later I am still waiting. I still buy their products though. Theirs are better than anybody else. I just never had any luck with their service though. :(
You should hear something soon, me thinks.......

The advice I was given to share with others is: "go through the helpdesk so things can't go unanswered"

Yup no shipping to Canada from GB :(
......... Oh well, I'm not buying any thing till the posties are off strike any way.
LOL. They'll still ship non vape stuff, like those posted by Willy and Mike.

Rambling on ...... I think we're on a fantastic batch of high quality coffee these days ;) Tibs seems to find that fine line before user sensibilities are offended :thumb:
Thanks for all the advice earlier on my AC refrigerant. Refilled and cold now, but it's nearly time to swap out the car for the dog sled and snowshoes. Canada, eh.

Hey, Mike P- were you the one who bought that AA mod? If so, I saw that they had a coupon for a brick of 24 @ HF. for free.
No, I havent done any AA mods since making an Altoids mod back in the early days.

Clapton out, twisted 28 back in. My displeasure was most likely due to the increased metal mass and lack of preheat.
Gonna try one in a Taifufun GT4 on a 200/250 and see how that goes......or an Aromamizer v1 perhaps.

    75c + Clapton = no performance IMO
Try it on a 250 with Big! preheat :)

With the 316 clapton I had no problem with it hitting temp prematurely. The power peak is 130 watts for 0.5 sec. 45 watts there after. I'm dizzy after 5 hits, got to adjust my nic level.

Maybe one day we'll be able to grab points on the graph with the mouse and make that preheat ramp up more of a curve up then back down rather then BAM, to peak preset then SLAM back down after the set time ends. So what I'm thinking it would be like, take a hit while running on escribe, check the graph, reset points on the graph and then upload the settings to the board, ohhh John, hello John... :)

(If I was on the beta team...)

1 AM and I'm sipping a piping hot mug of mulled cider that is sooo damn good! It's like drinking a slice of the best apple pie you've ever had. I know I complain about the cold months and winter a lot but the one thing I really enjoy this time of year is this my mulled cider. If you never tried it I'd gladly share how I make it, I found one of the secrets is to add finely grated orange peel, then slice that orange and add the slices to the pot, it really makes if shine. I make a gallon at a time, once it's done and cooled I strain it through a fine coffee filter like the one below then pour it back into the jug the cider came in, then I can pour a mug and nuke it when ever I want some. I let it simmer for at least an hour, low slow simmer, it reduces down about 10-15% becoming even sweeter, the spices really get infused well on the long simmer, you get the intense apple flavor, the sweetness and the little bite of the clove that stays on your tongue. And it makes the entire house smell so good! :)

My love affair with 316 in my TGT4 was short lived. After arriving at work it would immediately jump out of TC. Cold resistance jumped to above .3 ohms. I narrowed it down to the post/screw connection. I don't carry the allen key with me but found one on the maintenance guy's desk.
Back to romancing the 316....well sort of.
