Hotcig could just use the DX200 front half for the board and make a single 18650 back half. They already make a dual 18650 for the DX200 :)

Yes they could. Apparently they are not.

I just got my Aromamizer v2. I built a simple single coil between the posts with Ni200 (.09Ω). I cleaned it with Dawn and hot tap water and it still has some machine oil taste to it. I'm usually a MTL'er and that's not really possible with this atomizer. It whistles a bit and not much better than my Lemo 2 for lung hits. I tried 2 air holes along the coil and by the post as well as all 4 holes open. I'm not that impressed with it.

I had that problem once, not being able to wash out the oil taste. Got looking at it with a flashlight and found a spiral chip from drilling in one of the holes, once I got rid of that I was able to get rid of the oil taste.

No, a dash cam is one thing, and almost getting to be a necessity the way driving is now, I mean like Ford is advertising. A wonderful 180 degree view, on the dash display, so you can see what's in front of you. What's the point? Talk about sneakers on a snake. If I turn my head 10 degrees in either direction I get a total of about 230 degree view and I don't have to take my eyes off the road to do that.

The Aromamizer is a dual coil atty. I'm sure there are many of Us here following this thread that will agree. I tried a single coil between the post, as have others here & it don't perform well :(
If it's full of oil, Well that happens and it needs to be washed better. It wont be the first or last time an atty shows up full of machine oil.
To see it perform, you need dual coils in there :) It's not really fair to the Atty to say it don't perform If you didn't build it right! I'm just saying, if you wanted a single coil atty you should have looked else wear.

I've had dirtier atomizers that cleaned out fine with my method. I checked it with a flashlight and no shavings anywhere.

The Raptor is the only model I know of that has a front camera. It only works when you're in 4low for rock crawling.

I'm not a fan of dual coils and the only reason I bought this was because some were using single coils and raving about it. I guess I'll stick with my KF's.

I have not tried them with a single coil so I may be well of the mark, but I recommend getting the coils really high up. It works great for me with horizontal duals, I was not that impressed with my first build with they were midway between the connection holes, but love them just using the top connections with the top of the (2 mm) coils level with the top of the posts.

YMMV, but worth a try IMO.

KTM, I've seen an ad, almost daily during the evening from Ford touting a "180 degree forward view camera system" on maybe an Edge or Focus, not really sure. Certainly not rock crawling capable and shown with a Mom and daughter on a downtown street. I know technology is a great thing, but this looks pretty dumb to me.

Thanks. My coil is level with the air hole which is right between the top and bottom screws. I'll try rebuilding it (maybe with dual coils) in a couple of days.

Ah, I've seen those but not from Ford. I think BMW and Volvo had 360° cameras. I agree, great tech for stupid solutions.

I was talking to a few friends with backup cameras and they were saying they don't even bother looking back when reversing anymore. I told them it was a bad idea and they should look back because the camera doesn't catch everything. I have a backup camera in my truck but I still look back when reversing.

I can see where the rear camera's would be helpful, I have spine problems and I can't turn my head as far as I use to so I double check all mirrors and look the best I can, then back up very slowly. If I'm in a area with a lot of cars and people like a store parking lot I'll also give a quick toot on my horn so anyone near that I may have not seen will look up (instead of texting while walking) and see I'm backing up and yell. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I hurt someone. :(

I can see where front camera's would be good if they showed what's right in front of the bumper where you can't see. Like in a case where a small child or pet made their way in front of the car when you got ready to leave, other then that I can't see the benefit. I wonder if those camera's record and save a snap shot time period just before and impact was detected? I can see the footage being used against you if you were at fault.

KTM, when do we get the Kayfun mini v3 review?
Attack of the (Kayfun Mini V3) Clones!

The 3 I got from Focalecig is good (2 316ss, 1 304ss) but it has logos on them. I gave one to my sister. The one from FT is black and 316ss. The resistance jumps too much so I can't use TP so I have a kanthal build in it. I might give that to my sister too since I only use TP. I also ordered one of each steel tank sections that allow more capacity, 3.8ml and 4.2ml. The 4.2ml tank is bulged and looks like a mini v4.

Overall, it's lighter than the v4 and easier to use, both daily and breaking down for cleaning.
