Well on the bright side I just received my FT order today (sorry steamer) ordered on the 27 of march shipped on the 7th. Now awaiting a reply from Evolv regarding my dead board

PS I'm liking this supreme so far put dual ni claptons in it.

Wow that makes feel real crappy now! I ordered 3/10/16 shipped 3/26/16 :( entered Canada 4/07/16 :(
You wont have any problems with Evolv :) After a few days they will send you an RMA form.
For me from here it's about 3 weeks round trip, I,m a lot closer to them than you thou.

Don't know why they had to put that pistol grip back cover on that SMY SDNA75. Guess they were worried about JT suing them for for the similarities to the Evic VTC.

Funny thing is I was just working on a modifying a VTC design to fit a DN75 for 3d printing. Guess I shouldn't waste my time on it with these going for $66.49ea at FT.

Dual coils is challenging enough with my big hands, I cant imagine doing quads!

Well, 2.5mm makes it a bit easier, for me. I also have a Coil Master coiling kit. My sweet spot for vaping utilizes 3.0mm ID coils. With 28ga Ti, I'd consider 2.0mm coils but then I'd have to use something other than my beloved READxWICK.

Vaporshark already has a case like that, all they need is a new carrier and they are in business. I wonder if they will get a specially designed board again.

Ok here's a serious question... So I'm an addict and I'm strongly considering getting the DNA75, and I don't know why. I have a couple dna200's built, a couple spare boards (dna200).

Ive decided I don't like 3d printed boxes very much... So I'd either need a custom "dna200" styled enclosure for the 75, or use some southern engineering to retrofit that board and screen into something it's not meant to fit in.

The dna200 building projects were fun and frustrating. Imho gone are the easy days of retrofitting Chinese ChiNA40 for authentic Evolv boards.... Now with the dna200/DNA75 layout, it's different.

By the time you factor in board cost, good quality battery tray or 1S (3.7v) lipo, premade enclosure, your really close (if not over) the cost of the pre made mods.

Asking my trusted associates here for opinions... Like many of you, I don't "need" the mod - like I said at the beginning, I'm an addict. ;)

The only obvious advantage "I see" thus far, based on the limited info, is the ability to have removable batteries which are easily replaceable "in the field".

I'm trying to justify a new purchase beyond something more than "I want it" ya know what I mean.

"need" isnt the issue.

You dont "need" another Mod. You "want" another Mod and are looking for the justification.

I dont "need" any more mods, nor boards, nor batteries. So why am I doing the (not to be mentioned) deal in the Classified section. It has become a hobby, an obsession, and a compulsion. It supports my addiction to nicotine, and my desire to "create" things.

As for price, the market has reached the point where DIY is not a $$ saving proposition anymore. Decent Mods can be had for less than the price of the parts we buy. Alas, I think the ones I build are better, but really its just a creative outlet. I like to create things, to hack things and make them better. Not only vape gear, but espresso machines, computers, and all sorts of other gadgets. "Creating" satisfies some inner need in my soul. "Creating" that also satisfies my addiction to nicotine is even better.

Plus, it keeps me off the streets........

IMHO, the DNA 75 is good for those who want/need replaceable batteries, or are trying to get Evolv quality in a smallest form factor possible, or are looking for Evolv quality at a lower pricepoint. If you dont have any of those requirements then build another DNA 200, its a better board for an advanced vapist.
