Well in keeping with our topic of absolutely no topic whatsoever... The wife and I went to see star trek beyond last night. We went to one of the newer theaters in Dallas...why? Because most of the theaters in our area suck. But we were very uncomfortable last night.

I forgot to take a picture of the recliners in the reclined position.

Plus I got a blurry shot of the screen as we walked in and you can see the task bar of the computer in the corner. As I was walking closer to the screen to get a closer, clearer picture they immediately changed it to something or took it off... Obviously my taking the picture got their attention.

Movie was ok. The main bad guy was next to impossible to understand... Vocally I mean, the accent was hard to decipher.

FYI: we saw it free last night. Those tickets from Dolby prime theater were $18 each. Atmos sound, recliners, 4k digital screen... Blah blah blah... Ok so here's the deal, get an app called ATOM It's for iOS and Android. It's a social movie ticket buying app. The concept is you invite friends to see movies with you, so you interact with each other within the app. Then when you pick your seats in a reserved seating theater like this one, you can see where your friends (based on your phone contacts) are sitting. Best part the first ticket is free (on the app) so you get to try it out. [emoji106]

I guess they are trying to take business away from fandango? The atom app is slick, and it works. The free ticket is based on your phone number, so any SMS capable phone get its first ticket free. (afaik Google voice and voip number do not work? But keep us posted)

Of course I'm not promoting this or anything. Just passing along what I think is a good deal to our group. Heck it may even work for you @VapingBad? I'd be curious to know!

OK, carry on.... (steal @KTMRider joke) so yeah, small footprint dna60 - that'll be cool. LMAO [emoji23]

On batteries I've always used lightning Vapes. They have good prices, shipping is always fast and free and they have permanent 17 and 20% off codes and frequent sales.

Phone guy that is an awesome theater. I almost never go but we have one around me that has seats like that and a call button for very discrete wait staff that serve all kinds of food, drinks, and alcohol. Its a bit more expensive but actually ends up cheaper because you get a free glass bowl of popcorn and a free assortment of beverages with purchase. Im a bit trek fan. Not so much the new films but they aren't terrible. I have both high hopes and low expectations for the new TV series. I'm hoping its post dominion war, between ENT and TOS or way in the future perhaps on a time ship.

On the new DNAs announced. I know the 60 is confirmed but I've seen a couple mention of a 250. Is it confirmed at all? It seems unexpected IMO.

I too have heard a rumor about the DNA250. Unexpected? Not really since anything released before August 8th has a two year grace period before filing with the FDA. Anything released after August 8th can't be sold without passing through the FDA process first.

I'm just not really sure what could be done with it.. The 60 and 75 use a single cell(in most cases) the "133" uses a 2s and the 200 a 3s. Wouldn't the 250 need a 4s battery? If so that's huge especially if you aren't using lipos and probably the same footprint as the 75 & 200 I don't really see what that would bring to the table. Of course that's all conjecture on my part. Maybe it will add a whole lot of stuff I wouldn't think about. Personally I'd prefer the focusing on improvements for the current chips. Like bringing the ss smoothing to the 200 chipset.

Well we sure don't need 50 more watts! I'm so impressed with the 200 :) I can't even see were they would improve it? Evolv is miles a head of the competition now, why would we need a 250 watt chip?

Pretty sure they are just upgrading the dna200 to handle 250w on 3 batteries to keep pace with the RX200.

I very much like the idea of a dna60. Small footprint like the dna40, would fit into a huge assortment of mods... If I had any large screen devices I'd be immediately looking to upgrade those to a dna60. Of course I'm assuming it's a large screen variant... I didn't research it, dna40 type size with escribe? I'm in.

As for DNA200 and or any other mods or boards with additional wattage.... Useless to me and I would have to think 99% of most people. Imho if Evolv released a 1000 watt board that used a 3s lipo but had the same features of the dna200 I wouldn't be interested. (of course we're obviously speaking hypothetically) more watts doesn't equal more better. ;)

My dna200 is usually at 50 to 60 watts, in temp dominant mode at 450f to 500f (give or take) so I'm not where near that 200w as it is. But hey, that's just me.

Batteries.. My last vtc5 came from Mt Baker vapor... Not a fan of the juice, but I ordered 6 Batts? 8 Batts? I don't remember now. I think my last 18650 battery order came from illumn.com I got some Samsung 25R (the baby blue ones). They are a reliable vendor I seem to remember reading. I wouldn't have the patience for ordering batteries from China. Batteries really do take "the slow boat"

Cinemas... That app (ATOM Movie tickets) may or may not have a web site? I know they'll buy your first movie ticket for you so you can experience the app and the online social nature of the app. So for those of you who have always wanted to try those cinema suites with the recliners, wait staff, etc but didn't want to pay the $20 a ticket, if the theater is a supported partner (like AMC is) you can go free.. Your welcome! [emoji38][emoji108][emoji106]

Atom Tickets - Android Apps on Google Play

(sorry I don't have the iPhone link? I'm an Android guy... I'll try and get it later)

430ss definitely gives me better battery life. I vaped a full day on my VS DNA200 with a .61Ω coil and I still had 38% left. I'm usually on my 2nd mod with the 1st charging by late evening. It could be the higher resistance but it's worth changing over to 430ss just for the extra battery life.

I'd be curious... I've been using 316 and I bought 1000 ft of it (28g) it's hard to want to buy another grade.

430 is it for me. Works in all modes, easy to clean, stable in TC with a nice TCR value...blah blah blah. Just get some. 316 is a pain...but you can put it in the shop for poor man's baling wire.

I was using 26g 316L ss. I think 28g 430ss is better. I tried it first in a KF5 that had muted flavor but I just thought it was my wicking. My first 430ss build brought out the flavor so I've swapped all my KF5's with 316ss to 430ss. It could be the gauge or that I went down from 3mm ID to 2.5mm ID but I also tried a 2.5mm ID 316ss build and got similar results as 3mm ID.

I'm curious how it will work on a KM3. Mine are all still on 316ss.
