Gearbest has three warehouses. One in China, one in the States, and one in the Netherlands.
Where do you see their warehouses? Their website says everything is shipped from China in their FAQs.
They had really bad ratings and reviews last year but I thought I'd try them since so many have been ordering from them. So if they have a warehouse in NL, why did it take 2 weeks to ship when it was marked "in stock"? I already ordered a couple more Serpent Minis from a US vendor. I'll probably get them before this one. Same reason I don't order from FT much anymore.
Most items, you don't get a choice where it ships from. But if an item is available in more than one warehouse, they do give you a choice. Here is one item that is stocked in all three. Notice you can select from what warehouse and notice the price changes.

I didn't hear anything bad about Gearbest when I started ordering from them back in December. I only heard about the horror stories later. But they where all about Gearbest in the early days. They got into some serious trouble for some super poor customer support. Then they turned it all around by the time I started ordering from them and they really take customer support seriously. They will answer any question you have about an order.
I wouldn't order from Gearbest if they were the only supplier left in the world. I ordered, and paid for, an item that was on sale. Later that day I got an email telling me they made a mistake canceling the order. I know of at least ten others that had the same thing happen in that particular case. The explanation was "we can't get the price past accounting", then why did you publish and advertise that price on your website? Burned once is enough for me.
They did the same thing to me, they offered me a "deal" at a higher price, I told them to close my account.

I dunno, maybe everything shipped with Netherlands Post goes to Holland first. Like everything shipped by FedEx goes to Memphis, TN first. Or is it everything from UPS goes to Memphis first, I forget?

That's a deal, but all these Gear best stories are scary. And batteries from china take a long time always... Some law about how they HAVE to send them. May not be here until Christmas.

They wait until they have enough battery's to fill a shipping container because just one battery in that container causes an additional expense.
